Official Thread Avowed - Fall 2024

So the studio who did the trailer mucked around with a few things to get the colors that we got, and the already released screenshots are more representative of what the game will look like

Curious about the rpg systems in this. Like classes, skill trees etc.. it strikes me they are going rpg lite which kinda concerned me but either way I’m in and this is in my most wanted for 2024.

if it's at least as good as Outer Worlds then I think we'll be OK. I enjoyed the Outer Worlds a lot even as a AA release.
I'd be surprised if it was bad. When it comes to what you might call traditional RPGs, I can't recall them ever making a bad one.

I haven't been keeping up with the press for this game (or any gaming "press" period).

Is there anything in particular giving you the RPG-lite expectation? My hope too is for a deep role-playing system. Though as long as the story is really good, I don't mind lighter RPG elements.

I’m too lazy to go find it right this second but I got the vibe from an interview around summer. I’ll try to find the article.

It’s Obsidian so I will be there day one regardless and sounds like we may learn more soon at the Direct.
