Bought Ninja Gaiden Black. I'm all ready to beat it on Master Ninja difficulty again. Sooooo excited!!!

Never had an Xbox OG, but playing it at a friend's place, it was the first time I ever played an EA NHL game at 60 fps. Even the Pentium III I had couldn't do it that fast. Then he showed us it was a modded system and had a ton of Genesis and SNES games on the HDD. Couldn't believe it.
All PS, PC and old ass cartridge NHL games ran at 20-30 fps.

Played Contra III on the duke. It was the first time playing it in probably 10 years. So good.
From this batch, ima buy:
Ninja Gaiden Black (soooo good) ...I had stopped at Alma previously but was so close to beating her several times...now I plot my revenge!

I knew holding onto my favorites would pay off one day. More imagined passing them on to a child or nephew but now and in the future I might not actually have to. I got a stack of around 50 og xbox games on a bookshelf, ready to go.
Admittedly I was somewhat underwhelmed by the number. 13 doesn't seem like much, but considering the work that's going into it, and assuming they run perfectly, I can understand the number being low.
I'm honestly kind of amazed. Kotor ran terribly on the 360, full of bugs and crashes. I can only imagine at the wizardry they needed to call on to get these things running the way they are.
And a sudden thought, here's hoping they put one or two freebies in games with gold. Can't be monthly I imagine with the work needed, but once in a while is the dream.

Why wont MS BC this series
My guess is music with PGR2 and with 4 the fact it ran poorly when installed on the 360 but I still see it coming at some point.
Pro tip for Ninja Gaiden. I've been watching some retro reviews for this game and almost all.of them don't appear to know this. If you click the right joystick, the camera goes to free mode and you can move it around with the right joystick. Helpful for some of the platforming parts.
