I think DOOM is going to be comparable to Wolfenstein. Not really doing anything new, but extremely polished.

The post show is on for a while. I never knew about Todd Howard, but wow. He is very well spoken. Explains things well, a true gamer and knows the details. Looking at his wiki, he goes back to Elder Scrolls Arena.... that was around 20 years ago.

Game designers could learn a thing or two about making sure whomever represents their games in a conference have someone who can both present well, and be a gamer at heart.

So hiring Don Mattrick is the way to go, then?

Did not see the conference. Only got this far into the thread so far and I am stoked like crazy for F4. It's going to be difficult to top the buildup waiting for F3 because it had been so long since Fallout and Fallout 2, but I can already tell this game will be the absolute balls.

Well, unfortunately, some people still put graphics as the most important aspect of gaming. And it will never change. Oddly enough, some of those hardened graphics gamers prefer playing on console, which goes against the superior PC versions.

"Graphics whores. Whore never changes."

Doom will get (rightfully) drowned out by the Fallout 4 showing however it should be noted that Doom looked like a lot of fun. This looks so much better than the bore that was Doom 3. It's been awhile since there was a AAA, mindless, fast, every man for himself, twitch shooter. This looks like it could fill the void. Excited about the prospect of mods on consoles.

As a really busy person, I no longer have time to memorize every nook and cranny of a map to know where people will camp out. I'm looking forward to a multiplayer that's super simple to jump into.

Doom (PC) and Pipboy version of Falllout 4 (PC and PS4) reordered.

I'm more excited for Fallout 4 than I am for my upcoming trip to Cedar Point, Disneyworld and Christmas all combined. Going to build a new PC this upcoming black friday for these two new games.

Can't wait!

Unless Nintendo can pull out a miracle, Bethesda will be getting my vote for best conference.
