I have no problem taking out trash or clean the table or dust off around the house. But the dishes!! Oh man... I.. I just can't stand it. I can't. It's too much!!

:smash::smash::smash::smash::smash:

Ah, what the hell. I have to do that before my wife comes home within couple of hours. Wish me best luck.

EDIT: It is done! Whew!

Washing dishes is a Zen experience; those who use dishwashers miss it. Organize the dishes, make sure they're slopped and rinsed off before putting them in the soapy water, and have a TV to watch while you do them.

My mom always made sure I cleaned my own dish as a kid. People are always shocked when I end up washing my own plate at their home.

I told my wife that it's easier if we wash our own plates as soon as we're done with foods or before bed. It makes the job easier on us. We both HATE dishes washing, though.

I hate doing dishes as well. I love doing laundry but I despise folding it and putting it away. I'm known to do laundry and not take it out of the basket until it's time to do laundry again. Then I'm let with a large mound of clothes to fold and put away.

f*** them god damn dishes. I got a used stand alone full size dishwasher off kijiji some of the best money I ever spent. I hate god damn wishing dishes.

Washing dishes is definitely one of the worst time suckers in the history of the universe.

I'm forever alone so have to deal with it. I'd take dishes over laundry, although that's probably mainly because I have a shared facility in the apartment.

I don't mind cleaning, washing dishes, doing laundry, I enjoy having a clean place. Years ago I dated this girl and we lived together for awhile and she would just pile dishes up and leave cloths on the floor it would drive me crazy!!!! My ex-wife kept our place clean and we both did our part so wasn't too bad. Now that I'm back along gotta do all the cleaning my self.

Doing dishes is easy.. My wifes kids are so spoiled with there dishwasher! It's sad.. and still loading the dish washer is hard for them, I don't get it..

Don't you guys have dish washer?

I do not have one, but I do wanted to get one, when my family expand. In any case, I like to clean my dishes after I done with eating. I can't stand dishes in the basin left there for hours.

I don't in my apartment, so I just wash every dish by hand. However, I'm not even sure I'd like a dishwasher in my current situation. When I wash dishes it's only ever a few at a time, which is annoying and I hate it, but it doesn't take THAT long. If I had a dishwasher I'd have to put every dish I own away when it's done washing. I think that'd take more time. Of course, the situation would be different if I didn't live alone I think.

if I had to list in order of least desirable things I have to do as a manwife this is what it would look like
1. Fold and put away laundry
2 doing laundry
3. vacuuming
4. mopping floors (3-4 are interchangeable dependent on what needs the most work)
5. organizing clutter
6. putting away toys
7. doing dishes.

cleaning the toilet is off the list
