I don’t mind it sometimes, till you go against a full squad that locks down the map and you can’t do anything.
The reason streamers and top players don’t like it is because there is no outplay potential. You get shot you die. They hate games with quick TTK. They want to be able to move, jump, slide, and then kill the person that shot them first. They want a higher skill gap to separate the great players from the normal every day players.
Do you have it set as kill streak or score streak? I like score streak more since I always play the objective.
I tried that and it helped a little but I still die and reset it before it builds much. Maybe I just need to rebuild that muscle memory lol. TTK is so goddam fast.
It isn't you, the crazy SBMM prevents you from going on many streaks. Have one good game and your next few will be against great players.
See through gameplay and player skill I’m all for separating bad/average players and the great players, but why should we be forced to play against those great players more often than not. So damn stupid, I would play this so much now if it wasn’t for that. Game seems to be in a better state right now with gameplay, maps, and fewer bugs.
That's just it, it is managing your experience, not matching skill.
You're not "playing", you're riding an algorithm. Do well one game? Well next couple will be brutal. Then they throw you another easy one, then a couple more brutal ones.
I'm assuming they know which players will play through it no matter what.
I'm glad I skipped this so far.

I think most people get that the problem with MW3 is the company execs, not the devs.
The devs were in a tough spot, but that's never going to change the fact that the company changed what was going to be a DLC to a full $70 game. People are shocked for calling out an AAA company? I'd be shocked if people didn't.

I'll give the free trial a go, but honestly I don't think I'll buy a COD game again until they change the matchmaking.

This game is trash. I'm a level 1, and I'm put into a lobby filled with level 55 sweats.
It must know me from my Activision account and it is game over. .5 K/D and losing every game. Zero chance to even learn the maps.
It would be a fun game if they turned off whatever matchmaking was doing. I know I am a long time COD player, but can a level 1 guy without even custom loadouts get 1 game against other new players?
I turn 50 in 2 months. Isn't SBMM supposed to protect old farts like me?
The connection feels terrible too. I wouldn't spend a dime on this game. Isn't worth playing for free.
