Sorry, I know there's a DR3 thread, but just in case it got buried in that thread, Hyrb said a DR3 demo is on it's way.... (mods if you want to put this in the DR3 thread, no problem)

The DR3 demo is in the process of rolling out. If it’s “Unavailable”- try again later. It will be available in all regions the game is sold

I just checked. The game demo page is there, but for me it says "Unavailable". So not yet. It says it's a 7.1GB download.
 
Ryse and DR3 are two of the most fun games that I've ever played at a launch.

It's only 7.1gb? That is small for a next gen title. Imagine how the game would look had it been 50gb!
 
its showing as to be released on 12/13 for me...
 
several other demos are available as well btw - fifa,nba,zumba, etc...
 
just checked again.. Now downloading DR3...
 
Just bought this game. What do have to do to get your phone to receive in game calls if anything before I start?
 
This is one game where a demo is not needed. Buy it.
 
I'll check out the demo, haven't been a fan of the previous games but thought this one looked good.
 
demo was fun. I was pretty sure id like the game and the demo reinforced that. Excited to play it eventually
 
This game is a must have in my opinion, a solid 8-9 in my book.
 
Funny that some of you are saying 'go and buy this without playing the demo' well after playing the demo I can honestly say I won't be buying this game.

The game itself looks fantastic but it's not my thing at all. I find it boring as f*** swiping away at zombies for more than ten seconds (what's so interesting about that?).

I'm glad there was a demo at a time where there's talk of them becoming extinct; I now know not to pick this up, I would like a Ryse demo now for the same reason.

Yeah, also glad I checked out the demo because I also found it very boring. Just not my cuppa tea!
 
same here... Its a great game from a technical experience in seeing and interacting with everything to do...

but the main story/purpose of the game just doesn't hold my interest for long...

can see playing it to get some latent aggression out though.... :p

the number of zombies and openness of the world is wild though...

might be a bargain bin buy in a year or so for me if I'm just looking for something to pass the time and I'm in a pissy mood... :)
 
Not really into DR either. If it is $20 in a bargain bin in march, maybe I'll get it. For zombie action, I think Dying Light is a game that has more heart pumping action. However, 505 Games is at the helm and their Dead Island was rough around the edges.
 
Tried the demo just now. It's kind of fun but it's not a genre I'm typically interested in. Could see picking it up if it gets cheap eventually or as a rental sometime.
