you didn't notice. i just listed a bunch of fundamental things that have changed in not so subtle ways.

You say coming from D1,but when did you play last? I can only assume it has been a while.
It's been a lonnnnnggg while. My point was that to ME, it felt like Destiny and I didn't notice any changes. I picked up the controller, started up my game in similar menu's (though now that I think about it, I noticed the galaxy menu is missing). It was pretty nice that I was able to feel familiar with it.

I only had 50 hours in D1.

I can't have an opinion? Well that blows.

Not in this thread. People seem to argue with anything and everything for their own amusement. Praise the game - your opinion is wrong. Criticize the game - your opinion is wrong.

I've only played D1 since a few days after launch on two platforms, but you know my opinion is all wrong and stuff. People take this stuff too seriously. I play video games to get away from all this.

I don't mind discussions, that's why we're here - but when I don't even know what I'm arguing for or against I get confused.

The destiny 2 beta was great. I hate it....

Ok, so I'm referring to the D2 beta in particular here, but you didn't play the strike and only play a few matches of Crucible. So i'm sorry dude, but you don't have a valid opinion to offer on the beta in that case. Simple as that.

Opinions are never wrong. It just depends on how valid they are. It's fine to have to opinion, but honestly, if you give an opinion on something, it should at least come from having a basic understanding of something to begin with.

Well that explains that then.

It does still feel like Destiny but also feels different. Which is exactly what you want in a sequal.

Beta didn't have enough meat...but it was a beta.
Not sure what the argument is?

The good news is the Coldheart Exotic is not classed as a power weapon and goes in your energy slot.

It looks cool. Just have no idea how viable this new archtype will be.

Placing shotguns, fusion/sniper rifles in the power weapon slot is stupid. During the beta I couldn't have fun using the shotgun and fusion rifle I had because heavy ammo wasn't dropping. Bungie isn't going to dramatically increase heavy ammo which means you have to sit on using some of weapons types that made D1 so much fun in PvE.
They are icreasing power ammo drop rates and making certain enemies guarantee power ammo drops. Those 2 things combined should significantly increase power weapon availability.

I am also hoping they have ammo synths again.

If they increase the power ammo by too much another problem arrives which is gamers (like myself) will abuse rocket launchers to take down bosses more quickly. Its seems like its going to be a balancing nightmare for Bungie.

At the moment power weapons don't do enough damage for it to be an issue. It isn't that big of nightmare. Give plenty of ammo and just balance weapon damage/boss vitality accordingly.

We need lots of power ammo to break up the primary play.

Yes, I can understand that. Now if I had spent more time in D1, I can guarantee I would notice the differences you have. Either way, I enjoyed my time in the beta, so I will indeed get it.

I want to get it on X1X assuming it will be the best version with regards to performance. However, if Bungie elects to not invest time into the X1X version and it is the exact same version as the PS Pro, I would get it on the PS Pro only because I wouldn't then not have to wait for the DLC, and since they would be the same graphically, it would be a no brainer.

Well yeah. Your previous post said,"cming from D1," which I took as yyou play somewhat regularly and somewhat recently. Which is why I said,"impossible."

i think X1X will be the place to be for both performance and visuals.

You're kind of missing the point... I'm not doing a deep dive into the beta because why bother? Why become an expert in something that is likely to change significantly in the coming months? I'm not farming when anything I got would have been lost.

More power to you that did. I played enough to know I was keeping my day 1 preorder and I moved on. I'm actually a little weird that way. I love the game, but have little interest in the beta. I'm actually spending as much time as possible in other games, knowing that D2 will dominate my time soon enough.

I wouldn't have mind unlocking a different weapon for my hunter. Every weapon I got was another Hand Cannon.

I LMAO at this.

You love a game you haven't played but have no interest in playing the beta of that game you love that you haven't played.

Not too mention your previous point for not playing was because it was boring, even though you hadn't played it.

That was a pain as a Titan. Our floaty jump forces us to stay in the air too long. I always got killed by the top thing swinging by.

The problem is that a regular jump doesn't go far enough, so you have to hit jump again which makes Titans just hover in the air for a few seconds.

Didn't think of it from a Titan perspective. I was playing as a Hunter.

Bungie doesn't think of anything from a Titan perspective when making jumping puzzles.

I would love to know how many times I have died in D1 simply because my floaty jump left me as a big freaking target.

hmm.gif

.

I'm not talking about farming. I'm not talking about deep diving. I'm simply talking about the playing the missions that they gave you in the beta.

Like I said, I didn't understand you're logic but whatever you want to do, or not do in this case, is entirely up to you.

I wasn't talking about the new classes or PVP balance or anything in depth. My complaints were simple about the recharge rates, and of course were echoed by literally everyone who played the beta. I'll try to word my posts better as I know there are people out there looking for that one chunk of a post they can quote and misrepresent you.

The titan jump is fine. I did the jumping puzzle in Kingsfall with it. Every other jumping thing in this game is a cake walk in comparison.

f*** off with that victim s***. You said something stupid and have been backpeddling and spinning since.

You didn't misrepresent anything to me. You made a few comments on things in the beta that you haven't played at all for yourself. Did I get that wrong? Because I don't believe I did.
