MS could've had Bungie between Destiny and Halo the way Naughty Dog is now bouncing between a Uncharted and Last of Us. Think it was very shortsighted.
What new classes? Trailer shows the same classes, same enemy. The weapons dont look much different than tyose found post TTK.I'm looking forward to more details about new classes and weapons. I'm going with the PS4 version since that platform gets content first. But if there is Scorpio support I may regret my decision.
why pre-order? The beta is open to all.I may pre-order just to sneak a peek. The trailer didn't do anything for me. I heard it's coming to PC.
lol MILLIONS will be playing on the Xbox.. Put your DS4 bias aside or buy the Scorpio version. There's little reason to buy this on Xbox. Majority of the community will be on PS4 and aside from launch content, Destiny 3 will be close to release before you see the best DLC. Unlike other shooters, DLC is a big part of the experience. For these reasons, I look at Destiny as a PlayStation exclusive franchise. Even though I have a PS4 Pro, no way I'm playing a shooter with a dual shock. MS really fumbled letting Bungie go.

The trailer just looks like more of the same old.

The DLC was significant if you wanted all the loot and strikes but not significant enough to not enjoy the game without it.There is only one reason to get it for either 'latform, preference.
The exclusive DLC is so small that it makes no significant difference. It isn't even like it was the best content, the exclusive strikes they got were som of my least favourite, and weapons were balanced and inline with all others.
It isn't like we had to wait a full year fo reach DLC.
I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain.Did you not see the "2" in the title? That's a clear difference.
It wasn't significant at all.The DLC was significant if you wanted all the loot and strikes but not significant enough to not enjoy the game without it.
DLC releasing at the same time is a bigger deal and AFAIK both versions got DLC at the same time.
With any luck, they do Steam and UWP so that way it is free for PC when I buy it for Scorpio, and lets get some cross platform play in there too while we are at it.might double dip than
Ask COD how that worked for them. With any luck, they do Steam and UWP so that way it is free for PC when I buy it for Scorpio, and lets get some cross platform play in there too while we are at it.
No.
That's because they didn't make the game cross platform play. Since Microsoft supports cross play with Xbox, Steam and UWP on PC, it's a win win for gamers and the largest pool of player to play online together.Ask COD how that worked for them.
They won't make that dumb mistake again.
Yes 2 someNo.
The exclusive content doesn't come close to appeasing the lack of content issue. Trying to make a silly subjective argument is just that, silly.
Its not win win unless Scorpio fully supports M/K for all games, and I don't think it will. That's because they didn't make the game cross platform play. Vavle/Steam won't work with the horrid MS gaming platform. That's because they didn't make the game cross platform play. Since Microsoft supports cross play with Xbox, Steam and UWP on PC, it's a win win for gamers and the largest pool of player to play online together.
That is on a developer by developer choice though, not Microsoft's. Though Phil is adding k/b mouse game support for developer to the Xbox. Its not win win unless Scorpio fully supports M/K for all games, and I don't think it will.
Oh please. You were getting the PSX version regardless.Yes 2 some
Gear and strikes that took 1 year each time to be available for xbox(2 years in total without counting ROI)
As a multi-format gamer who is a fan of the game...that is significant to me and what version I purchased. But that's my opinion and you have your OPINION.
Lack of content that you see is a separate topic I'm not getting into

LOL....horrid gaming platform. Now I know you are joshing....btwVavle/Steam won't work with the horrid MS gaming platform.
So this won't happen unless they wanna separate the delicate PC community
Most PC gamers laugh at MS terrible gaming service and will buy on Steam like they did with COD.
I am getting TWO versions this time.Oh please. You were getting the PSX version regardless.
It isn't a seperate topic, it is all one and the same, and if you didn't think it lacked content then you are a blind zealot...
I honestly think its ass as does most of the PC gaming community.LOL....horrid gaming platform. Now I know you are joshing....btw
Cross-Network Rocket League Play Arrives on Xbox One and Steam PC
http://news.xbox.com/2016/05/24/cross-network-rocket-league-play-arrives-on-xbox-one-and-steam-pc/
Today’s the day!
As we promised in March, cross-network play for the Xbox One and Steam PC versions of Rocket League will officially roll-out later this afternoon by 3pm PT/ 6pm ET/ 10pm UTC, making it the first-ever Xbox One game to support cross-network play with a Steam PC game.
Nearly 2 million Xbox One players have already competed in Rocket League since we launched in February 2016, but with today’s new cross-network update, your potential pool of teammates and opponents will grow even larger!
It’s an historic moment for us here at Psyonix, and we’re really exciting to bring Xbox One and Steam PC players closer together. Cross-network play has been something that Xbox One gamers have been asking us for since the day we launched, and thanks to Microsoft’s new cross-network policies, we’re proud to give it to them.
Enjoy the new feature — and remember — you can toggle cross-network play on or off with an easy-to-find check box in the Options menu.
Have fun!
