I agree with that part but I don't believe MS ever would have let them leave Halo, Bungie pitched other ideas and were always declined. That doesn't mean that the ideas were good I won't say that because I don't know what they were but if MS was only going to have them working on Halo it would have hurt that franchise (which is already shrinking) and Bungie.
What new classes? Trailer shows the same classes, same enemy. The weapons dont look much different than tyose found post TTK.

Damn, I didn't watch the trailer but assumed there would be new classes for this sequel. I guess I would be ok with the same Titan/Warlock/Hunter classes. If there truly are no new classes they are going to have to remix class abilities.
The DLC was significant if you wanted all the loot and strikes but not significant enough to not enjoy the game without it.
DLC releasing at the same time is a bigger deal and AFAIK both versions got DLC at the same time.
With any luck, they do Steam and UWP so that way it is free for PC when I buy it for Scorpio, and lets get some cross platform play in there too while we are at it.

The exclusive content doesn't come close to appeasing the lack of content issue. Trying to make a silly subjective argument is just that, silly.
That's because they didn't make the game cross platform play. Since Microsoft supports cross play with Xbox, Steam and UWP on PC, it's a win win for gamers and the largest pool of player to play online together.

As a multi-format gamer who is a fan of the game...that is significant to me and what version I purchased. But that's my opinion and you have your OPINION.

As we promised in March, cross-network play for the Xbox One and Steam PC versions of Rocket League will officially roll-out later this afternoon by 3pm PT/ 6pm ET/ 10pm UTC, making it the first-ever Xbox One game to support cross-network play with a Steam PC game.

I am getting TWO versions this time.
YUP I will buy all my MP 3rd party games on my fav MP 3rd party machine.
Destiny has had a load of content since it released and has been my and MILLIONS others best experience this gen.
Blind zealot is a person who keeps trolling a series that they didn't try all the content from ie you who its beyond obvious didn't buy ROI and are butt hurt you can't play the new content.
Keep playing the problem filled copying off Destiny... Division and everything else UBI makes.
If not buying Destiny 2... we get it..move along we seen your bitching and don't need to see anymore.
I honestly think its ass as does most of the PC gaming community.
Downloading KI and gears 4 was a cumbersome slow experience.
Lets not post the COD IW debacle as its a more relative comparison.
