Devs Asked Why PC Ports Are Trash

Asks question. Gets BS answer. Doesn't question the answer. Just writes an article we have seen for 1000 times before.

Pretty good insight from devs. Having to ship and release day 1 on multiple platforms is harder than it sounds these days as games are getting more and more complex. Combine that with the fact most PC gamers also have average/mid end components and they need to balance between the high end PCs getting their visual fidelity while still being able to run on lower end rigs AND also minimizing serious bugs/crashes and doing QA.

Without any computing knowledge, I'd say its money. When the majority of your sales are generated on console, the PC becomes an afterthought.

Should have asked why are they trash even on a rig with the exact parts named in the recommended requirements.

Do you have any software running in the background like Razer Synapse or Corsair iCue?

When in doubt, blame Razer Synapse (a tiny little program that allows you to customize your mouse/kb for Razer products).

It is all about money, testing and optimization. Throwing broken ports on PC and then screaming, "But PC is HARD!" is just old. There's tons of PC games that run just fine. Sorry, many of us are running Intel chips and Nvidia cards. I'd bet most of us are running similar setups. It isn't just the oddball setups having problems. If your games run like crap on Nvidia 3000-4000 cards, you're doing something wrong.
