I have been loving this game so far. I play with my daughter and it has taken over the game time that was previously consumed by Disney infinity. This is my first time playing a Diablo game and I have enjoyed the discussion on teamxbox. I look forward to it continuing here.
One question, did the pc version come out with more classes or is it just these four?

There's actually 5 standard classes for both PC and consoles. But PC is getting an expansion game that has an additional 6th class.

I haven't played the console version yet, on PC it was-
Barb
Demon Hunter
Witch Doctor
Wizard
Monk

I believe they confirmed the expansion would come to consoles as well, but who knows how that will work. Hopefully those of us who bought it for present gen consoles will be able to upgrade to a next gen version by the time the expansion is released without losing all of our stats and progress. We probably won't though.

I just played the demo last night and I couldn't stop myself from playing this amazing game. I think I might pick this up on Xbox One or PS4.

I've been playing the hell out of the demo. If I wasn't already forking out a buttload of money for a new tattoo I'd buy this game.

Pay your tattoo artist with cow blood in a bucket while looking him in the eye saying "there's more where that came from" then wink at him.

I tried the demo last night and I really liked it, I'll be waiting for the next gen version before I pick it up though.

I tried that. Apparently being a vegetarian includes the blood not just the meat. Who knew?

I am enjoying the hell out of Diablo 3 on Xbox.

I love these types of games and they are few and far between on Xbox360. The last good one was Sacred 2.

I know right?... it's an absolute travesty that there weren't more QUALITY online co-op action RPGs on the 360 this generation. Sacred 2 was okay, but in the end very rough and unpolished. Borderlands is the only other game of this nature worth mentioning, but it was ultimately pretty shallow. My prayers have absolutely been answered with the release of Diablo 3 on consoles. My copy is in the mail as we speak, so hopefully I'll be joining you guys online and in deep discussion here very shortly! I can't wait.

Is there pvp in this version?
Loved the first two.
The static sorc was rapid at looting, used to make quite a bit of money for just having fun in a game.

I'm not feeling the combat system, I'm gonna have to give it another go.
Give it another go with a different character. Barb and Monk are melee, Demon Hunter is range, Wizard/Witch Doctor is more about range too.

Played the demo for like 3 hours; yea it's addictive.
It could look better though, but it's real nice they got 60f/s on current consoles.
Still going to wait on the ultimate PS4 version though; hopefully the expansion will be included.

Is the demo the one we saw in the Gamescom preview with high level characters or is it the "Starter Edition" from the game start to skeleton king? I know that the Gamescom demo probably lets people play around more with the abilities/combat but I think the "Starter Edition" is better into the learning curve and gets you addicted to loot gathering so you want to upgrade to the full version.

I hope the expansion comes out in very early 2014 for PC and Console almost simultaneously and I do hope it is DLC for the 360. I know Blizzard has not confirmed they are even working on it, but now that the foundation is there for the console, I would hope they are thinking port the entire time so it will be ready. A new act, new class, new level cap, new loot and a new artisan (mystic-transmog).

PVP, aka Brawling, is junk in the game. It is basically just a free for all 1v1v1v1 area you can enter with your party and have at it. No teams, no scores, no leaderboards like you see in an actual "arena" type PVP setting. In this game, PVP comes down to gear and who has the best. It can be an interesting side for a few minutes with friends, but if you are reaching outside your circle of friends to PVP, then expect to meet a lot of dupers.

Finally got around to getting my 360 copy. Will be playing in a bit.

Wish i had more time to play this. Im lvl 20 Barb. Ive looted about 3 ledgendary items so far. Game is a blast favorite of the year.

I've put so much time into this game it's nuts. Loving every second!
Barb lvl. 60
Barb lvl. 25 (to play with friends who have less time to play and for the level each character to 60 twice challenge
Wizard lvl. 60
Monk lvl. 43(co-op with a friend)
Monk lvl. 5 (challenge)
Demon Hunter lvl. 43
Witch Doctor lvl. 23
Paragon level 7

Holy crap, DvD, I thought I'd played a lot this last week.

Finished my first play through with my Wizard today, did a little bit of Nightmare difficulty. Around level 34 now, I think. Got an amazing weapon beating the final boss.

I can play games at work. It's amazing.

Anyone annoyed by the fact Blizzard has the console forum for Diablo 3 locked to active Battlenet account holders. I get when games fall under Battlenet for logon and appreciate the idea of keeping those forums locked down to real players and real account names. However, D3 consoles has nothing to do with Battlenet so it seems the D3 Console Forum serves little purpose being locked to a handful of players from their PC games. Basically 98% of their audience has no voice in their community. So bugs, player groups, ideas and suggestions are made up of 2% of the community.

I was getting mixed up with Asherons Call pvp. I remember now the lame pvp in D2, over at the blink of an eye and all you seen were ears on the ground lol
