They definitely could have implemented it better, but it wasn't bad. Each character started off with a good number of costumes (I think 12ish) which is a good number and then had new skins coming out on a pretty regular basis. All cosmetic. I think DLC makes sense in that way. Can't wait for all the micro transactions this one is going to have.
One more thing I would like would be an option to turn off a particular costume so the computer doesn't select it. I don't want to be playing at night and have my 11 year older daughter come in seeing me fighting against someone in nothing but a dental floss bikini.
Lol, I wonder what that will do to their revenue stream. I remember reading somewhere, that Helena's most purchased costume was the 'Bathtime' one where she's wearing a towel with wet hair.Agreed.
Just read an IGN article on this. They actually are trying to clean it up a little bit and have more modest (relatively speaking) costumes. They want it to be a little more of a mature game and not ust appeal to super horny teenagers. They said that everyone will still be very attractive, but less focus on the *slutty side.
Looking at this pic of Helena seems to show that. She's still well endowed, but not on the point of being ridiculous.

(Sorry. For some reason I can embed the pic in this post on my phone)
The main guy also talked about have more for single players to do in the game (nice win) but he really only talked about the story mode and that they want to have more single player modes. Hopefully they come up with something good. Soul Caliber used to be pretty good about giving us single player stuff.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's just the colours, but something definitely looks off about it.It looks good, seems to have lost its vibrant colour pallet and anime design/style, bounce physics have been turned to mute too lol
I'm more hyped for Soul Calibur 6.
