Dragon Quest Heroes (PS3/PS4) for Spring 2015

Think it's been a while since Dragon Quest was released on PS platform.

Was pumped when I heard the news, but then read this:

Little else is currently known about Dragon Quest Heroes, other than the fact that it isn't a core Dragon Quest game, and that it doesn't play with Dragon Quest's typical old-school, turn-based JRPG mechanics

Might as well not even make it

Dragon Quest is my favorite series in gaming, but this is lame. Level 5 needs to get back on this.

while it looks cool, i think a rpg of dragon quest would have been really awesome, i loved dragon quest 8 on ps2, still play it every once in awhile.

My all time favorite game. It's a shame nothing like it has come since then from DQ.

Its a action/adventure rpg in the vein of DW.

Definitely gives me a dynasty warriors vibe more so than action/rpg game. I am going to read more about it to see though. Too bad its not a straight rpg like the previous games were though but anything dragon quest is better than nothing though.
