The spaces between realities!
I mean I can afford to fill up, but these gas prices are ridiculous. Hell out here in southern Cali/Tucson, AZ area where I am it is $3.42/gallon.
I guess that is below the national average of $3.69!!!

We are on the verge of $4 bucks a gallon which is ridiculous.
I do however feel sorry for the folks on the east coast because apparently you lot in the Pennsylvania area are paying somewhere in the area of $3.79!!

Anyway, discuss.
How much do you pay for gas/petrol in your area? Are you annoyed with the cost or is it a non-issue?

$3.60 for regular here in Jersey, lol.

Not that long ago it was even worse. I don't even look at the numbers when I go to the gas station so I'm not sure how much it is but I think it's right around the 3.40-3.50 range.

All I can suggest is either investing into a more fuel efficient car, grab a bike, or take some walks where driving isn't entirely necessary. Obviously it all depends on where you live, but if gas is killer, then you should weigh in your options.

I remember a few years ago when it was over 5 a gallon. I had an hour commute at the time, it was almost cheaper to just stay at home.

3.70-ish. It's crazy. Why is the price so high? Is it because of war or...? I've always wondered about that.

Here in the heartland for the longest time through the 80's 90's and 2000 the price always hovered around a buck for a gallon of gas, I still remember before we invaded Iraq it was 1.10 per gal then a year or two later its 3 and 4 dollars per.

Last time I topped off my Mustang at the end of June it was 3.84 for the 87 octane in ny it is over 4 dollars a gallon here in LA for the cheap stuff wow.

Goddaimn...You guys seem to have it pretty bad!

It costs about 17/18 bucks to fill my Charger completely up where I live (Premium fuel). Would be lying if i said I didn't feel good about that!

Those Tesla S cars must be looking pretty good by now, eh? TBH if i was living there and gas prices were that high? F*ck yeah I'd get one. Aside from the fact that they look sexy as hell and are cheap to maintain. They're super fast as well! I think 0 - 60 in the 4 seconds range? That's pretty fantastic.

I wish I lived in San Diego. I have a buddy who crosses the border just to fill up containers with gas; It's only like $2.80 a gallon. It gets cheaper too.

It's about $3.89 average around here for the lowest grade.

I used to pay 25 cents or less per gallon
got full service plus S&H green stamps
those were he days

the ISIS issue is causing the rise in the price of gas, expect it to go higher
everything else will be going up as well

when I first started driving at 17 I had a gas guzzling 1970s V8 chevy but it did not mater as gas was only a tad over a buck a gallon and this was in 92. I REALLY miss those days :(.

Same here, when I started driving gas was .99¢ a gallon. I could drive for all week on $5

Last two years oil for cars have cost roughly 15-16 NOK per liter in Norway. :-/
2,589456 USD (equals 16 NOK) * 3,785 liter (equals 1 US Gallon) = so that should be 9,80 USD per gallon, if my math is correct... :-/

I'm paying about 5 bucks cdn a gallon so you all can go f*** yourselves. I also find gas here burns like s*** in a car when I go to the states I get much more mileage out of that gas then the cheap s*** here in Canada.

$4.00 seems to be the extreme discomfort line.
I dont commute and work from home. but I ship a lot and the prices or over the road freight etc has gone up about 10-15%

I'm sure they'll be a time in everyone's life in here were you would gladly take $3.75 a gallon, I doubt we can sustain this little bubble for much longer.

No, But I assume it must be better roads there than in Canada.. Afterall the canadian police are on horses, while I think the US ones are in cars. :-/

You'd be better off on horseback than in a car on a lot of the roads in the Northeast US :(
