Dude....gas prices...wtf??

I think it was $3.45 the other day when I got gas here in Southeast Texas. I'm at the point I don't wanna look at the price anymore and I go to the cheapest store near me.

even tho gas costs close to 4 bucks a gallon the car my dads GF drives only has a 10 gallon tank and gets close t0 40mpg and only costs her under 40 to fill it from empty it costs me over 60 to fill my 16 gallon tank :(.

Gas has been around $1.40 / litre up here in Toronto for close to 2 months now. Brutal.

You Yanks have it easy. Right now it's at about $1.40 per litre. A gallon has 3.78 litres = $5.29/gallon.

Prices in Canada for stuff is almost always higher even when the currencies are around parity. Booze, smokes, electronics, gas, clothes you name it. Taxes are usually higher too. Ontario has 13% tax on most stuff.

Americans complain about oil price expensive... :D

Can you imagine how much fuel will cost once we get space ships? It'll probably be like $5 a gallon.
Maybe, but once we have spaceships we can mine the resources off other planets so the price could even end up going down. That, or we'd end up in an intergalactic war and prices of everything go up.

What are the prices over there starseeker? Isn't it around $7-$8 per gallon?
It cost about 1.58 euro per liter
After Conversion rate: 1.58 x 1.36 (as of 3th July) =$2.15
Conversion of of price in litre to Gallon: 2.15 x 3.8 = $8.2 per gallon

Arrgghh!!!

I just want to hit "10.00" when pumpin' the gas and, all of suddenly, I hit 10.01. Seriously, though. A penny? A Penny??!! *sigh*

Wow, just came back from Florida, the Tampa area, and the cheapest gas was $3.19 a gallon. That was awesome coming from $3.66 a gallon before I left.

New rule in Canada. We either round up or down from $0.05. So I always go for the $10.02 to get the most out of my $10.

Tell me bout it. There is a gas station in the town I work in that has been $4.00 even for prolly the past 3-4 years now.
$3.89ish here. I consider myself lucky though since I live within a mile from work. So I only have ton put like $25 into my car every 2 weeks and I'm fine for the most part.

I have never got gas at the station that's $4 a gallon myself. I don't even know how they stay in business, there are 3-4 other stations within a couple miles that have gas at the local average (right now about $3.65), even a while back when gas was hovering a tick above $3 a gallon that station was still $4 a gallon...
