EA Access on Xbox One.

Hmmm, didn't that only come out lie 5 months ago?

I wonder if FIFA 15 might get vaulted next...not holding my breath though, it is a long-legged sales machine.

It's sales are still doing well, currently. I doubt it. Like the post above said similar to 14 it will go in before 16 at which point it will be pretty irrelevant.

What games are currently in the vault besides NBA Live? Also, is there usually a set time that games are in the vault or is it just random?

Games in there are there permanently according to EA. Battlefield, plants v zombies, Madden, NBA, need for Speed and a bunch of others in there.
Personally I really like the 6 hours of free play feature that it delivers.

Cool. I may have to check it out just for Battlefield. Really don't feel like buying it with Hardline coming out soon but wouldn't mind playing it with a few friends.

There is the ufc game, plants vs zombies, madden 25, battlefied 4, fifa 14, need for speed and now nba live 14. will be awesome if dragon age comes into the vault but i am sure that wont happen for a long long time.

Next Free EA Access Game Revealed

The EA Access free game vault continues to grow today, as professional hockey game NHL 15 has been added to the lineup. Electronic Arts launched the game today for the Xbox One subscription service just in time for the start of the 2015 NHL Playoffs, which begin next week.

NHL 15 becomes the tenth title in the free game vault, joining other sports games like NBA Live 15 and Madden NFL 15, as well as shooters Battlefield 4 and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, among others.

Cool, I'm going to try it out soon. Haven't played an NHL game in awhile.

I'm guessing one of the Tiger Woods games will be up soon, since golf season is upon us and they dumped his ass for McElroy.

Is there a Tiger woods game for Xbox one? I am pretty sure there isn't.

My guess is FIFA 15 is next. Other than Titanfall--which is exempt from EA Access- and Hardline--which is too new-- FIFA 15 is the only other game they have. Couple that with the fact that FIFA 16 will release in around 5 months.

So, I say FIFA 15 is added around July.

NHL was a pile of garbage missing a ton of features, which is great considering they didn't bother with NHL 14 on current gen consoles. I already traded it in but I will probably get EA Access sometime in the next few months and will check it out again.

downloading nhl 15 now, looking forward to trying it out and i am glad i am a EA access member, i bet they will add dragon age soon to the service.

I'm a 2k fan so i would never buy NBA Live 15 without EA Access. I decided to download it and the game is actually not that bad.

I should try it out. Getting tired of 2K's reliance on online connectivity for (offline) game modes.

I could see myself getting NBA Live 16 instead of 2K16 if it's decent.

If Battlefront turns out beast then that may be when I finally try out EA Access. A few other games on there right now I would play but too busy right now anyways.

Next Free EA Access Game Revealed

EA Access members have a new game to play. Electronic Arts on Friday added FIFA 15 to The Vault, bringing the total number of games subscribers can download and play for free up to eleven.

So the overall list of vault games looks like this

Fantastic for sports fans. A little lacking in non-sport titles though. I assume Dragon Age will be next.

With continued reports of a ME HD trilogy would be cool for EA/MS to surprise everyone at E3 and put them up on this.

That would be great if they made it free via EA Access. MS is teaming up with EA this Summer to promote EA Access so I do think there may be some big things in store.

It would also be good since I assume MS has some plans/ways to celebrate the 360's tenth anniversary. One is obviously with the Gears remake coming soon. I could see a possible Mass Effect Collection being another. We'll see.

Let me restate that the one month option really is a no-brainer if you ever plan on buying any new EA game digitally, given you get the title early and at a discount in the first place, so it's pretty much a wash or better. I did that with Madden 15 and liked it enough to get the year sub later on, since it's the much cheaper option, over time. It's almost too good a service for the price, IMO. I wonder if that is what Sony doesn't like.

I am going to disagree. A one month sub on basis of discount & playing early really isn't a no brainer. The 10% discount is moot since it costs you that 10% for a sub anyway, and playing early, while nice, doesn't really have any value.

The value of this service comes in 2 ways, 1.) over a longer period that 10% discount soon adds up. 2.) the free Vault games.

IMO, if you do not have an interest in a lot of EA title this service isn't a good way to go.

Well, what I said was that it was a wash or better. You say moot, which is a very similar to me saying it is a wash. You would be both still getting said game you already going to get, early; and also getting to play a slew of vault games. Pretty simple, to me. Pay for a month and see if you want to opt out. This is obviously for someone who is not sure that the service is for them. I have noticed that a lot of gamers who aren't into reading about these things in the web are kind of bewildered by this service. It really is like a free trial with an earlier release to boot.

I was similarly not sure about pulling the year sub trigger when the service started, but new games kept popping up in the vault. Obviously the year sub is way cheaper, in the long run.
