It was gameplay. Time to just accept it. Frankly it looked amazing but NOT so amazing to me that it couldn’t be gameplay. If you look closely it definitely still looks gamey. Not in a bad way. The tech and skill of the team is clearly fantastic. But I didn’t find it unbelievable at all for it to be gameplay.

There were a few seconds of gameplay that were very short clips in a 2 minute trailer, it was probably less than 10 seconds of gameplay. A guy talking to the camera isn't gameplay, it may be an in game cinematic which is fine although that makes no sense because why would he be talking to a camera in Albion? I'm sure that part was made just for the trailer.

I have no doubt it'll be a beautiful game, that dev knows how to make good looking environments, I just wish we got to know more about the actual game. I want to know if players still have the ability to do good or bad things and have your characters appearance reflect those choices and also if we can choose to be male or female at the start.

Fable always had a stylized look so if they try doing facial scans and making them look 100% natural it's going to be kind of off anyway.

You go ahead and say a guy talking to a camera is gameplay if you want lol.

The NPC's look pretty much like most NPC's in modern games so it's easy to believe they are the same models we'll see walking around. Very little footage in that trailer was someone actually controlling the character which is the definition of gameplay.

Some was gameplay, all was in game.

Avowed looked like an ESO expansion to me but that trailer was mostly gameplay. Most of the fable trailer was either the guy talking to the camera or from non-gameplay angles. There was a tiny bit of gameplay in it so anyone who says there was none is exaggerating but if you want to pretend it was a pure gameplay trailer feel free, that doesn't make it true.

90% of the Avowed trailer was not gameplay, by your standards. Because the camera wasn’t firmly placed in first person for most of the trailer.

It does too they just changed a few things but you can see her face there. I do find it funny that those clowns were trying to say it was based on a trans employee when that person looked nothing like the character model in the game.

I don't know. I saw the pictures and it looks more like him than her, imho. At least from the trailer. Its got her coloring but looks much more masculine and goofy than her. If it was just based on her then they definitely ugged her up.

Edit: maybe they'll fix it though. Alloy got some touch ups after a bit of backlash too

Well to be fair the picture people keep using is the one where she makes the goofy face too. Not the one in the tweet here but if you go to neogaf they keep using that pic of her when she was called a wanker and turned around.

I want a fable game more than any other game on xbox and more than most on playstation as well, this was a fun trailer but people saying it's all gameplay are full of it. It says "in game" so as long as all of those cinematics appear in the game it's not a lie but it doesn't say gameplay.

I do doubt that the portions where he's talking to the camera will be in the game, that almost looks like something they may have just done for the trailer but we'll see.
