So, with the first episode hitting the air waves yesterday, what are peoples thoughts?

I thought it was all right. A little slow and full of family drama, but I do like the slow unfolding of the escalating pandemic.

Looking forward to episode two.

Surely the zombie apocalypse isn't caused by a bad batch of heroin, right?

I didn't think I would care for it , being jaded by the regular show but I was pleasantly surprised.

I also don't mind a slow build up since that will be lost soon enough.
The young guy reminded me a bit of a young Johnny Depp for some reason not only in appearance but some of his mannerisms.

I felt pretty much the same about it, it was a bit slow in parts but I liked it enough to keep watching for sure and I also really like being able to watch the outbreak as it happens vs just being thrust into it. It's cool seeing one walker seem so dangerous again since the people haven't figured out to go for the brain yet.

Yeah it was fine.

I mean, I think they could have done a lot better with having a brand new canvas to paint but it was decent and it'll get really good in short order I assume. I'll be watching it every week. Hopefully it gets really f***ing crazy next couple episodes :D

Was Ok. I did enjoy the kid addict. He was the most interesting to watch.

However, I want to go on record, Cliff Curtis seems to be the death of TV series. He's been in a sting of them and the only last 1 season.

I'll keep tuning in.

I really enjoyed this. Was a bit slow but the suspense haha.

I can never seem to get his role in Training Day out of my mind when ever I see him onscreen.

Enjoying the series so far. I think I might binge on it though. Let em build up then watch. So far I'm enjoying the pace and characters.

I really like the show. The pacing is much slower than the original but the writing seems better.

Was looking forward to the new episode tonight.......

They're skipping a week :(

Hate when that happens!

Strand is the only interesting character yet on this show. I hope he gets more airtime because the main cast isn't doing it for me.
I did like Daniel the barber but he always telling anecdotal stories which at first were entertaining but now have become like ; Oh god, Dan's got another story!"

Yeah this show is kind of not great when it should be. They have this great platform to work off and they did a poor job IMO.

I'm still going to keep watching the rest of the season simply because it could still improve suddenly, but it needs to get way more interesting and suspenseful than what's going on right now.

Well the season is over. Last night's episode was the season finale. I haven't watched it yet. Not sure if it is cut up like The Wlaking dead where they have a mid season finale and then start up in the winter.

Yeah I just watched the 6th episode, they must be doing to split season thing which is in line with tWD.

This episode was much better finally, hopefully the next half is much more interesting.

No, the first season was only 6 episodes just like the first season of the walking dead.

Season 2 is already confirmed though.

AMC SETS PREMIERE DATE FOR FEAR THE WALKING DEAD: SEASON 2

Fear The Walking Dead will return on Sunday, April 10th at 9:00pm ET/PT, as week after . As the show moves from its six-episode first season to a 15-episode Season 2, it will be split into two parts. The first seven episodes will air this spring, with the remaining eight airing later in 2016.

Nice. I enjoyed the first season.

We also get 15 episodes this time round...not sure if that is a good thing or not, though. Guess time will tell.
