FYI, I added alert notification to browser tab.

Whenever you get an alert it will show up in the browser tab next to the page name like on Twitter, Facebook, etc. It refreshes every 60 seconds right now. If it affects the server load I'm gonna make it 120. If you don't see it you probably have Java disabled.

The web developer in me tells me that it'd be so much more efficient if push notifications were set up instead of polling the database every 60 seconds though! /sigh
