thought it was 2!?Actually, you know what. GWG only gives out 1 free game for the X1. Just read the fine print. I guess they don't have enough indie games to give out? I don't know. That sucks. Hopefully they start giving out better games then since it's just one.

I like that PSN+ owners get $10 off DriveClub on release. They should do something like that.

Yeah, WTH. I thought it was two games a month on XBL as well. I could have sworn MSFT said that. Their free games leave much to be desired. Luckily this is a new game release heavy season otherwise I'd be disappointed. Just get Forza Horizon 2 so I can smoke your drivatar.
It's not. Wolfenstein TNO had $10-15 off for pre-order digitally as well before it came out for PS+ owners.
I have found one better in the rewards program. I averaged about twenty dollars back a month all summer. Might get more this month with how they revamped it.
Another sidescroller type game is disappointing. What's that the 3rd one already? I don't really mind I guess cause I like them but still

The blurry snapshot you showed isn't even updated as it says "starting in June". It's already end of September and two months since then GWG gave out two games for free for X1. The first freebie month gave out Halo Spartan Assault and Max. And later in the summer, a month had Crimson D and that Strike Suit shooter game.

If you are going to claim you are now an X1 user, at least be aware of what's happened in the past few months as you've probably downloaded the freebies like everyone else and should be in the know..... assuming you actually do have an X1.
I have downloaded all the freebies I'm interested in. I was not aware it was only one game per month. I was always under the impression it was 2 and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Check my profile if you ever doubt I have a X1. In fact, hasn't it been always 2 per month since GWG came out in June for the X1? Well, except they put the same game out for 2 months in a row for Max and Crimson Dragon.
If it's really only one, I question why MS isn't following Sony with at least 2 titles? What a weird decision to make. PS+'s value just increased a little bit more again.
No, it hasn't been 2 per month since GWG for X1 started. Sometimes one game, sometimes two games. It's not hard to follow, but then again I know you are playing dumb to spread FUD anyway.
Even just skimming the list of games for gold, it's been 6 games across 4 months so far (June-Sept). So it's obvious it's been a mix of one per month or two per month.
But keep on the good fight Mango (or Naty as you change your user name every month)! lol
It has, MS / Major Nelson always advertised 2 games per month. Just some games have been repeated. If it was always supposed to be one per month then why wasn't there an official announcement or something to clear this up? Noone in this thread said anything about it only being one game per month until I brought this up. Go back and look at the history.
Do you even see MS or Major Nelson saying that these 2 games / month is a "special" offer of any kind and that it'll go back to being one per month? I don't.

Where does it say in any of those links, that X1 GWG is two free games per month forever? Just because it started with two freebies in June doesn't mean it is two per month every month. Your blurry cut and paste photo even says it's 1 per month for X1, but sometimes I guess they'll give two.
No different than 360 GWG being two per month. But sometime in the spring or summer, they gave THREE free games. Just because that one month they gave three doesn't mean it's three for all months going forward.... (it was that month with Street Fighter as the third 360 freebie... whatever month that was).

We want to thank our Xbox Live Gold members by providing two free game downloads a month. The Games with Gold program started in June 2013 for Xbox 360 members and will expand to include Xbox One in June 2014.

The first sentence has to do with the past, which was two freebies for 360 gamers. Going forward, it is left open ended. If they wanted to be cheap, they could have kept it as two freebies total. But it seems they made the policy (your blurry cut and paste image) as two for 360, and one for X1.
But even with that statement, the freebies can be more. As seen by some months having two X1 freebies and that month where they gave three 360 free games (the month with SF4).
So stop with your FUD and purposeful misinterpretation of policy.

Uh, right there in those two sentences? MS first explains what is Games with Gold and they answer it's providing TWO free game downloads a month. In the second sentence, they state this program (2 free titles per month) started in June 2013 for 360 and is coming to the X1 in June 2014.

Yeah... it does say it... in the fine print which we know the majority of people don't read whereas their FAQ just says something else entirely.
It won't be free anytime soon.
The XB1 just came out in Euorpe and the rest of the world. All the game devs are now happily releasing GOTY editions so they can charge Europeans full price on year old games.
I know I know...Games with Gold sucks too. GWG sucks, Xbox One sucks, Xbox Live value sucks, Xbox One resolutions sucks, Xbox games suck, Xbox One sales suck....Xbox just plan SUCKS.
It doesn't suck. Just doesn't give as much value right now.
