MX vs ATV Alive is very cool and so is The Raven. Was never into SSX back in the day and the new one just frustrates me. Made me want to go back to the Amped series. Would love for MS to make an Amped 4, more like the 1st one of course. Amped 3, while still fun, got a little too much SSX influence for my liking. Especially in the visuals and character of the game.

The most recent SSX was awful, incredibly frustrating and with none of the flair and fun of the previous games.

I remember the backlash against the reveal trailer, everybody was mocking it for presenting itself like Call of Duty. The developers backtracked and tried to downplay the 'deadly descents' aspect of the game, which did turn out to be the worst part of the whole sorry experience.

I just couldn't get past certain points. I don't mind deadly descents, and I actually loved the direction of the original trailer personally, but the design of the mountain just leaves plenty to be desired. I just found myself restarting again and again while not having any fun with the gameplay. The combo of it being SSX and it's design just left the most sour taste in my mouth.

Well I had to make room for Witcher 2 as per usual with my stupid 13GB launch 360 :(

Tried MX vs ATV and my god that is not a very good game! Haven't tried that series since the original Xbox and that one was bad too.

Looking forward to giving W2 a good run in anticipation of 3. Hope I like it :D

The Witcher 2 is great offering for Games With Gold.

I still think that Microsoft will reduce the 360 game offerings this year and offer more on Xbox One to sway people to upgrade.

GWG on 360 is so much better than on Xbox One and they will want to change that perception. As time goes on the Xbox One's game library will have more to offer than 'just' indie games and smaller titles (not that there is anything wrong with those games). on the service

Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download [HASHTAG]#IDARB[/HASHTAG] for free during the month of February.

On Xbox 360, starting Sunday, February 1st, Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through February 15th.

Then on February 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Sniper Elite V2 for free through February 28th.

Growing up as an 80s arcade kid, I have to say I'm honestly looking forward to IDARB.....looks like lots of fun

Nice, I dont download all the free games but ill check this one out this weekend. I wonder when we will start getting some retail games like the 360? I keep thinking Ryse will be the first one thats why I have held off on rebuying it, I have wanted to finish that game but its still pretty expensive for a launch game.

retail games? imo around the fall this year_im waiting more for free(or ftp) games like world of tanks/happy wars to come over to x1

Your rhetoric bores me.

And yeahhhh...because [HASHTAG]#IDARB[/HASHTAG] is such a terrible game: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/idarb

I should be extremely mad at MS for making it exclusive. How dare they pick such a fun MP game that most people seem to love so far...and give it to us free of charge?!?

It really is outrageous.

But enjoy all three of those steamers that no one will remember a week from now.

Why you hating?

Transistor and Rogue Legacy has both had raving reviews since its release in Spring/summer 2014 - 83+.

It's been proven over and over again that PS+ has better offerings than XBL Gold. It's not the fault of the gamers, blame MS for not stepping up their game.

DM. You can be such a Sony hero sometimes.... It's fantastic.

Nothing wrong with IDARB but I would like to see a second game at least occasionally.

Wouldn't care to have Ryse though. Better to have good indies than bad or mediocre retail games.

who said it was a terrible game?

Instead of getting upset that someone dare criticize your precious MS. Wake up and smell the roses.

It's a piss poor offering when sat next to what PS+ is offering this month.

Me? Perhaps you should re-read this thread and tell us where the 'hating' actually started.

Sony has a big indie push, and that's good for the developers....I expect them to pump out good indie games, but my point still stands: Let me know how many people are still playing any of those games in a couple weeks.

If you have any praise for IDARB, please explain how it's a 'shockingly bad month' and a 'piss poor offering' for MS. They're giving us a new game for free before they even charge for it.

Your post already had a distinct bias to it calling them steamers and that they would be forgotten within a week. Well, they were released last Spring/Summer 2014 and people still remember them now.

And even if your post had any merit. PS+ offered 3 "forgetting" indie titles to MS's 1 (one of which is also being offered before even charging for it just like your precious IDARB). Where's the praise for that?

Would I comment on your statement if there weren't?

Yes, you would and you have been proven wrong many times.

Of course Ive been wrong to your breed. Not surprising at all. However, you go meta when it comes to anything Sony.

Well, then I am at a loss as to why you singled me out when I have said nothing wrong. I have always wanted X1 owners to get at least 2 offerings per month too and I 've been pretty adamant and loud about that. Think about it, you're paying more for the service to get less offerings (kind of a re-occuring pattern this gen for some reason). Although I guess you can't complain much since MS started offering free titles pretty late relative to the competition.

I admit my post was worded too strongly, and I apologize to any devs (if anyone happens to read it). I usually root for the little guy, buy locally, etc.

But it's for the same reason I felt the need to defend IDARB; it's getting good reviews, and it's a totally new MP game that looks to have some legs. There's no need to jump all over it, just like I shouldn't have been so critical of Sony's offerings.

Obviously this all comes down to opinion, and for that reason I won't comment further on this, other than to say (again) I'm happy to see good indie titles on any platform, especially for free. This month MS has given us one good, brand new MP game, and Sony has given 3 (2 good, apparently, but again, you like what you like, so maybe 3) slightly older games for free. 3 is more than 1, yes....but based on the trailers alone, IDARB is far more interesting to me.

Who knows, maybe they'll all suck, but I'll find out soon enough.

Still looking for IDARB impressions, please!

You're just overzealous at times. I mean we get it....You got the Sony tattoo as a tramp stamp, you got Sony socks, you sing Sony theme songs and you plan to call your first child, Sony. Just ease up a bit. There's being a fan, and then there's being a religious fanatic on PCP listening to old Ozzy Osborne songs...BACKWARDS. Just trying to keep you with us bro-hamed!
