50mm, that's like 2"... That's freaking crazy, I can't imagine the size of the stinger on that thing.
1/4" apparently lol50mm, that's like 2"... That's freaking crazy, I can't imagine the size of the stinger on that thing.
1/4" apparently lol
Their bodies are about 2 inches, their stingers are about 1/4"50mm is little bigger than that though...
Well it is not uncommon to find a 5 cm (2″) long hornet with a wing span of about 7.6 cm (3″). Now before we go any further, I want you to use your index finger and thumb to measure out 2 inches. Now picture that as a hornet!
This makes sense considering their stingers are about 1/4 inch long and can expel a venom so powerful that it can dissolve human flesh.
Don't forget...venom that can dissolve human flesh...WTFOkay, my bad. You were talking bout their stingers. Makes sense since I was wondering hiw big they were. 1/4" is a pretty big freaking stinger...
Though it probably cost more to just run the news story about this then those Sci-fi channel movies get in their entire budget.Yeah that's like something outta a Sci-fi channel movie!
I think they actually look pretty cool... ya know, from a distance. That is just...disgusting.
I swear, I know the nature lovers hate any sort of creature to go extinct but I fully support the genocide of giant hornets.
