It's not going to be a huge game anyway but I think coming out a month and a half after Batman and ES Online, 2 months after TW3 and 2 and a half months after Project cars is better than trying to release against MGS, Just Cause 3, AC and Mad Max in Sept-Nov. Project Cars and PGA aren't even close to the same kind of game anyway, someone wanting an action game to play isn't going to be looking at a Racing game or a golf game. July/August is probably the only time this game has a shot at decent sales, April-June is crowded as is Sept-Dec so what's left?
Seeing a lot of crap flinging at this remake (not in this thread, surprisingly). Same thing happened with The Last of Us Remastered, despite its huge sales, great metacritic score, and satisfied gamers.
GoW 3 got a 92 on MC and it's one of PS3's highest rated exclusives. Seems worth it to me to play in 1080p 60 fps with higher res textures and better visual effects, maybe $25-30 would have been better.

Last of Us Remastered made far more sense than this.
How can you release a GoW Saga with 5 GoW games on the PS3 to then only release GoW 3 on the PS4? Especially when many PS4 owners didn't have a PS3?
Doesn't make sense. I have no problem with remasters but this one just feels completely wrong in terms of value. Maybe its due to the assumption that people who were 360 last gen had a PS2 during the gen before it.
meh I got to agree with ya. far as HD remakes go this one is so so as a package. They could of just done all the games and upped the res but lift the rest alone and just upgraded GOW3. OH well I will pick this up when it hits that magic $20 price.
no idea I mean the game was already great looking on PS3 so no idea what they could upgrade. just the res and effects is my guess.
