If I had to guess. I would say it was because of Jurassic Park and its huge success. The Broderick Godzilla movie came out in between JP 2 & 3.
You're watching Pacific Rim for acting?
You're doing it wrong.
Just had some recent thoughts
...3) Please don't weigh down the movie with a lame human subplot like in Transformers. Granted, this one seems like it could be trying to strike a decent balance, but man, part of the reason those movies suck is because of all the human stuff.
Here is the new "main trailer" for the movie
I just hope there isn't too much storyline with the humans and they don't save all the good s*** until the end of the movie.
Eh.....I'll watch just for Elizebeth Olsen...
Who the F says this?
First full body clip of Godzilla from the movie.
The IGN UK podcast gave away a few spoilers, they also had a 20 minute screening of the film, here are a few of the things they talked about.
Godzilla is 350 feet tall which is supposed to be the biggest Godzilla ever, he fights other monsters in the movie but not to save humanity it's more of a territorial kind of thing, starts off in Japan then moves to Hawaii then the mainland of the US, the other monsters feed off of radiation so nuclear weapons have to be moved away from populated areas, it's a serious tone like the first Godzilla movie.
