Rockstar confirmed 1080p/30fps on both consoles.

had this pre-ordered for xbox, think i'll have to change it to PS4. do like the games that make use of the pad speaker.
So my PS4 Controller battery would last for 2 hours instead of 5 when playing this.

That sleezy bastard Phil Spencer lined Kaz's pockets, so that Sony would then be able to pay for the marketing deal with PlayStation, with the only stipulation being that they also force parity. It was an inside jerb.
Indeed my friend, that definitely turned out to be true then. It would not have been the end of the world if it had been 900p, cause plenty of games are on it and look ace, but it IS good news. You always find me saying i don't mind 900p that much, but that doesn't mean i don't want games to be 1080p if they can, i sure as hell want that.
I read that they have increased the variety of wildlife to like 10 more different species but that there's also a s***load more detail now. Just for example take the beginning of the video, we see the smartphone in the hand of the protagonist and a cracked phone screen, cool s***.
This re-release is going to make Rockstar another $2 billion in sales. I'm definitely repurchasing.
It's cool to see them giving you some good reasons to rebuy the game, new content, first person, etc. It's gonna be a pretty cool way to play the game, from time to time I've always just had a wander about the map on foot in GTA games and it'll be cool to be able to finally do that in first person.
Oh my god, this new trailer is crazy. It's not just a tacked on first person view, this looks like right out of Strange Days.

I played and completed it on the Xbox 360 have the PS3 version in wrap unopened there has to be a deal in which I can trade that version towards a PS4 version. IF not I will end up getting it for the One of PS4 again anyway.

So it's 1080p/30fps for both consoles. Rockstar did a good job. Can't wait to play GTA V again on the PS4.
Damn, I didn't know Rockstar's going to implement a First person view. That looks amazing. Can you play the whole game through first person?
Yep, online and offline. I've heard that even cutscenes can be viewed in first person, but I've not seen confirmation of that yet, but it'd make sense. There's options for how you can use it too, such as going into third person when taking cover etc.
With only like 5% of the PC community being able to run this game at 4k along with 60+ FPS on current hardware (As in sli, sli, or and quad GPU). Knowing Rockstars past performance on PCs i'm not hoping for much.
My PC is also considerably more powerful than my PS4, but the only use it's gotten since I got my PS4 is playing mmo's.
Even at 1080p, you know full well it'll look better and run better than 30 fps.
We'll have the option to switch between 1st/3rd person views anytime we want. You can even customize times when you want it to switch on it's own.
