Two games stick out which I thought were impossible to beat. But turns out they are!

Feel free to post any legit longplays of games that were beaten..... no cheat settings, invincibility codes, bugs that let you teleport to the final boss or anything like that.

Simply guys who beat the game from level 1 to the end. But gameplay quirks which a gamer took advantage of is OK (they noticed a pattern).

Target Earth. Gamers who legitimately beat this game can be labeled gods. At about the 21:00 mark I never got past the reactor core. It was impossible. Turns out you can grenade it from off the screen from an upper platform.

A baseball game that will beat you every time if you play it normal. But if rack up enough runs.... like 40 runs!...... even the CPU can't score enough to catch you. The longest I ever got was the 5th inning.

Playing it normally, you'd have to keep the score low for your best chance at getting to another inning. If you try to hard and score runs, the CPU would put up 4-5 runs, including a game winning homer to beat you.

This guy bunted, and took advantage of bad AI fielding logic.

Couldn't do CoD 4 on veteran. I got as far as the mission that looks like the Crossfire map and couldn't avoid the grenade spamming. Got killed maybe 15-20 times and gave up.

Ikari Warriors! That came out in 1986. I was in 6th grade at the time and I could always get to the very last stage and close to the final boss. Must have tried so over 100 times, even playing with a friend because you could do two players at the same time. No dice ..

Second game was Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. I could always get them Mike Tyson. I just couldn't be him. it's always haunted me. I'm talking times where I had them down to one more hit, too.

Third and last was Kung Fu for the nes. I could always get to the final boss but could never beat him. again must have tried over a hundred times. Same applied to the arcade version. I could always get to the final boss but no dice .

In my opinion games back then were so much harder and a lot more difficult then what we have today.

About 90% of NES games are just ridiculous. I'm having fun playing some Ninja Gaiden, Batman, and Ninja Turtles here and there. Maybe one day i'll be able to beat them. I never really tried when i was a kid because i rented most of my games. Got like halfway through them and was like yeah, no.

I used to be the balls at Ninja Gaiden. I had a high score that would have put me at the top of the leader board for Nintendo Power so I took a polaroid and sent it in...but of course by the time they received it the high score jumped up again so I got pushed out.

Anyone that beat the original Ninja Gaiden or Battletoads has my respect. Those games made me contemplate breaking controllers back in the day.

Recently I did beat Another World, the Remastered edition on X1, in one sitting. I was proud of myself for that as there were some pretty tough sections.
