I'm worried that mine won't come before 5pm either and that I would have wasted a sick day for nothing.

Earlier this week when AC4 showed up it arrived via UPS (same as X1) at like 11:30am so I'm REALLY hoping the same happens this time around.
Yeah can only hope once in a blue moon I get something in the morning from them, but usually always late here because my development area is furthest away and I'm just the cut off, where I go 1 mile other way its a different UPS hub.
UPS usually swings by our house around 4 in the afternoon, so I didn't bother taking the day off (though since the Jacksonville MS store is having a grand opening today, I had thought about it). I'm just hoping my wife is near the door when the UPS guy comes by (or that my son finds out it's coming today, since he'll be on lookout duty).
Mine went out for delivery early this morning, and my UPS guy usually comes a little before lunch time so he should be here within the hour! In the mean time, I've just been prepping my entertainment center for it's glorious arrival.... my 60GB launch PS3 (backwards compatible baby!) finally had to go to the attic to make some space. I was surprised how good of condition I kept it in... thing looks brand new, but I only ever used it for bluray and now I have an X1 for that!
EDIT: Sooooooo........ UPS guy just stopped by.... he had my game but not the X1. I told him I was expecting another package and he said that it may have gotten loaded onto the wrong truck, but he has no idea where it is... WTF? Fantastic... So much for the UPS tracker saying delivery by noon....
EDIT #2: And a second UPS guy stopped by with the xbox... lol, weird that two different trucks would go through my neighborhood within 15 minutes of one another, but I'll take it! Unboxing now!

just got mine and its freaking awesome. Who ever said its heavy need to get more Wheaties or something because it feels about the same as the xbox 360 black old falcon.
The UPS man dropped mine off at 9:45 this am. Left work early, hit Gamestop to pick up my pre-orders, and now I'm home updating!

Depends. Usually UPS though. That's how my X1 is being shipped right now from Amazon.
I live in an apt complex, so if UPS delivers after the office is closed and I'm not home, I don't think they're gonna drop it by my door, and I wouldn't want them to. I guess if it's not at my leasing office by 5PM, I will be staying-in till 8pm-ish. I need to get some errands done tonight with my wife and I don't think she's gonna wanna wait till after 8PM.

Not sure if they will leave the X1 or not. I live in an apartment complex too and they have left equally priced computer equipment before while I've been at work. That's why I took a sick day today.
I have 2 orders, 1 from Amazon 1 from Microsoft.. it's a race! Both are "out for delivery" but unfortunately looks like on different trucks.
Have to leave here in 4 hours for the airport, lol. Might get 1.. might get both.. might have $1,000 worth of Xbox One's sitting on my porch all weekend. Fuuuuuuuuu.. my buddy who I thought could do me the favor of putting them inside is being a twat about it. A guy I've loaned thousands of dollars to and even forgiven 100's of dollars of loans when he was broke... can't drive 20 minutes to help me not potentially get robbed.

Update from my Amazon situation:
Delivery time has been confirmed by Amazon support over the phone that the date changed from November 20th to November 25th by 8PM. In addition to the $50 credit I am getting on my credit card, they also offered a free Xbox One game of my choice, so I'm getting Forza 5 Day 1 edition for free.
This still burns me up because next week my wife and I are traveling and I will be going to her family's house for five days where I will not have internet access. I was hoping to spend this weekend playing the damn system with some BF4 action....now that's all ruined.
I appreciate their great customer service and support, but it still bums me out that my weekend plans are ruined. On top of that, I had to pay $11 for 1-day shipping on Forza so that it would arrive on Monday guaranteed (I hope) so that I have something offline to play while I'm out of town for the holidays. Ugh, annoys me to no end.
