Microsoft has a policy: if the game releases on Sony's system first, they don't want it. It must release on their system first or at the same time as their rival. This is one of the reasons indies find it so hard to work with them. Sony doesn't care so long as they get the game. They basically bend over backwards for these guys or talent period.

I believe they (Sony) may have a more developer\user strategy when targeting the general user and supporter.
