Good that more "mainstream" tech reports seem to think it's an impressive piece of kit. Microsoft NEEDS this being that it's $100 more expensive. Most of us that are getting an X1 on/around launch are pretty much on board with the convenience features that X1/Kinect provide and can easily see/justify the price difference. Ultimately, MS doesn't need to convince us as much as they need to convince average consumers. This is the kind of buzz they can use to keep momentum after launch.
