IGN: 20th Anniversary Edition PS4 Console Revealed

According to a translation of the post, Sony is preparing to celebrate 20 years of PlayStation by announcing whatever secret is shown in the teaser below.



Narrated in Spanish, the video depicts a person exploring a landscape while talking about the length of 20 years, conquering worlds, making choices, and living with the consequences of actions.

Little else has been said or revealed of the trailer, but some suspicion has been raised about whether or not this is an actual product. Emagon backwards is "No Game," and the video does very little to convince that it may, in fact, be for a video game.

The blog post promises more will be revealed on December 5, so it's likely we'll learn more at either The Game Awards or the PlayStation Experience event this weekend. Make sure to visit IGN for the live streams of both events.

Well, around :22 or so, there's what looks like a HUD. And I doubt Sony would leak what looks like a game trailer, only to announce "no game, ha ha, gotcha."

Sony has announced it's released a 20th Anniversary Edition of its PS4 console to celebrate its milestone birthday.

The new model, which comes in the same 'Original Grey' finish as the very first PlayStation that launched back in Japan on December 3, 1994, will be available in extremely limited quantities for €499. Just 12,300 of the consoles will be released worldwide, to reflect the launch date of the original console.
