The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time fans are restyling the game as a 2D adventure for the PC.
Reminiscent of classic Zelda games, the remake - built "from scratch, slow and old-fashioned" by just nine people - is only 10 percent complete, but already it features the classic top-down perspective and a fabulous 16-bit score.
For more information about the project, check out the website or download it yourself. It's not clear how long the demo will be available for, as Nintendo is traditionally rather protective of its franchises.
