Infamous: Second Son Discussion

I hated the first and played the 2nd one about halfway through. Maybe the 3rd game will be what I was hoping the previous 2 games were.
Definitely the PS4 game which will get me to cough up the dough for Sony's new beast. The first one was a decent game, but I think I2 notably improved on just about everything.
Too bad there's not a whole lot else that is floating my boat for the PS4. I'm sure as time passes, that will change.

I'm in the same boat. Think Infamous looks great, but it is all the PS4 has thus far for me.
Graphically the game looks REALLY good! As for the gameplay.....it seems really fun. Never played any of the previous versions.
I prefer FPS but for me the 1st infamous was one of the funnest games this gen.
I have yet to finish the second one, it felt a bit too similar to the first one. So i hope the third one will bring something really new. I must say that this 'ultrarealistic' graphical style....well..i need to adjust to it. Looks so different than the previous ones.
I don't know, seems about the same to me. I mean, the first two did kind of try and go for that to begin with. All that's different now is the tech.
from cutting in another thread. It is looking pretty sweet. 1 weird thing I noticed in the gif he is recharging from the neon sign but only the letters not the owl? Like the floating arrow in the ryse gif, it can't be unseen...
It looks like the owl right at the end. There is a glow around the owl at the start but it slowly goes away.

Never played any of the previous infamous games, only watched when my girlfriend played them, she thinks they are great games...will def be picking this up when it hits! Sure she will aswell =)...
Saw some cool animated gifs of the light power, would be neat for them to be here, but I have not run through them for some time. I also saw some ingame shots; B3D even had one where they were wondering if the render was 1080I as there was some evidence of it in the pixel details: I couldn't tell one way or another.
Makes we want to see more actual ingame footage.
