It all depends on how you use it. Some people will use power saving features that disable or reduce some functionality. That's not for me. If I bought some piece of tech, I'm going to use it to its full potential.
Mine won't make it a day without charging. With normal usage.
And honestly, the 6+ screen size is not even that big. It's almost the exact same size of the Galaxy 5S. I didn't realize just how small other iPhones really were.
I get nearly two days with my iPhone 5. I had to return my last one 1.5 years after getting it because the battery was defective. It would last less than a day and when I would plug it in it would say 30% charge or around there and would go from 12% to black in a matter of minutes.
very few people make decision on a phone base on a keynote. It will be forgotten soon. What people will know is the new bigger screen and all.
uh what? Whenever Apple speaks millions of people base their purchase on what they say. Unless you meant they were going to get it no matter what, then that I do agree to.
You meant 5.5", 5", 6" etc. Took me twice to know what you trying got say, & third time to confirm (sorta).
At first I thought you meant Iphone 5 vs Iphone 6.
Checked my alarm three times to wake me up at 2:45am. It didn't I woke up at 4:45am. I quickly jumped on iPad and it was still available through Verizon. I couldn't select the $60 a month plan online so I had to call them and place the order over the phone.
Just got a 5S a couple months ago, buy the time I get another upgrade the 7 will be out. The 6 looks awesome enjoy.

I was drawing the dimension of IPhone 6 Plus on a paper to get a feel of the size. I was like, Damn that is pretty big & took a while to digest.
Then I realized the dimension was for iphone (not the plus)!
They need to create ipants for user. My pants' pockets will have problem fitting in even iphone6. 3GS just feel nice in my pants, & even so, it feel some time bulky.
How do you guys with big phone carry around. DO you all buy new pants with deeper pockets (pun intended?

Wow, I try to watch the Keynote, & man, it was unwatchable. I gave up after 1 minutes. The Chinese translation was super distracting. Can they not make one keynote specially for the Chinese market (& have a guy to translate for Christ sake), & another in English?

Anyone getting the phone? My last iphone was the 5 and I kind of want to stick to my skip 2 gens and buy a new one thing. So maybe the 6S or 7 for me.
I'm not sure why so many people are getting worked up about the size of the +. It's almost the exact same size as the Galaxy S5.
As for these bigger phones, they fit in my pockets, just not while sitting down (at least not comfortably).
It may sound silly, but where I am from, sitting down is a pretty common daily things to do, its pretty popular.
I can see why some folks like the phablets but for me that is kind of silly. I will stick with the regular sized models.
Well that's just crazy talk.
Seriously though, I mean I just take my phone out of my pocket when I'm sitting down. Besides, most of the time I want it in front of my anyway.
I honestly think all of these phone companies need to consider the entire market. Not everyone wants bigger screens. I personally think the 5s is the best phone Apple has ever made. I have a laptop and a desktop computer, so I don't need a device that eventually challenges either of them in size. I like the portability of my iPhone.
I hope the iPhone 6s or 7 or whatever has an option for a normal screen size with the same form factor that doesn't sacrifice performance.
