Jump to new posts in thread

Why do I jump to new posts sometimes, and not all the time? I hate scrolling down so much.

Not sure. I'll keep an eye on it. I always do here an on my iDevices. It could be that it's waiting for some media to load. You can also changes how many posts you see per page.

Or what about a link to go to the last post in a thread? That would be convenient.

That would mean changing the entire system, no more jump to last read post for anyone, if it's even possible.

Also, it may be jumping to your last post read if someone edited their post.

Doesn't this already exist? Go in a thread that has new posts and then look next to where the page numbers would be.

If I click the little blue button, it always takes me to the first unread post.

Just click on the time indicator next to the person's name who posted last in the thread (e.g., "5 minutes ago"). Takes you right there.

Ah perfect! Works in the forum list view as well (click on the user's name).
