More and more it seems the higher ups in MS themselves are pushing the XB division into situations we’re in now. Who the hell in their right minds would want to keep shooting themselves in the foot knowing the extra big microscope their under 24/7?

But the possible over negativity is used as a shield against any criticism or question about them. You see in this thread in regards to Hellblade 2. Questions whether they will promote enough or well enough are pretty valid when you have wonder if Ninja Theory can survive if they don't.

Of course these things will be over analyzed when you consider we are only a few months removed from the last turbulent Xbox situation with their multiplat release situation. Which MS themselves also created but was also hand waved away as people looking to be negative.

Again who does that at this forum? We all do criticize them when it’s warranted. MS/XB gets way more criticism/negativity at this Forum than Sony/Nintendo. Funny you never say a word about Dried and Jerry but always taking cheap shots at some of us or MS/XB in general at this forum.

MS and XB gets more discussion period on here than Sony or Nintendo
 
My whole thing at this forum is no one is against others opinions, or what they prefer or enjoy, or criticism towards things. We can have conversations about these things…. it’s the over negativity, the trolling, the Twitter posts, towards MS/XB in every thread and news thread. The s*** has gotten old here.

The funny thing is all the "negative" news past few months were all decisions made ultimately by Microsoft themselves. If there is no smoke, there wouldn't be these reports and there wouldn't be anything to "hate" on. These are then reported by the journalists. When I post them, I'm labelled as a hater. When someone else posts them like Karma or wshowers it's fine to turn that into an open discussion.

Case in point, who remembers my multiplatform thread about the first rumour that said Xbox was looking to go multiplatform onto the PlayStation and Nintendo back in summer 2023 ? Turned into a slingfest of hate against me as the poster rather than focusing on the news at hand which went so off topic that it had to be closed. Lo and behold, it turns out to be true. But of course back then I was just "Xbox hating", right? I just made it up right?

Some of the posters here need to stop targeting other posters and just talk about the news. I'm not looking to post negative news, the news was already there to be found. Just happens I found some of them first. Instead of being mad or upset about Xbox for the decisions they made, all of it gets pushed towards the poster. Come on, be better, people.

Just because some truth comes out of rumors and hearsay doesn't make it news. When Phil and crew put out a video about releasing some games to PS5, then it was news.

Where would we be if we posted every Joe's tweet here?

Now, I can't stop you and nor would I want to. This is just my take.

The quote was from the Xbox CFO. It was not any regular Joe.

See what I'm saying?
 
I'm tell you right now, this closer is something that was coming. I don't understand why people are in shocked. Those titles didn't bring anything new. The only game that was fun was hifi rush. The other games from tango was mid AF. People at Playstation didn't buy it and that should tell you everything you need to know.

These people need to stop with these freaking video making it sound like it's over for Microsoft.

I think I know what you are referring to. I think it was all the comments where everyone was attempting to interrupt what he was saying. It still wasn't anything firm. If it was people would be saying this was it.

I'm not going to rehash all this. I think you no what some are trying to convey.

Even if it was released the same day, it didn't set the world on fire because no one wanted to take a chance to put $70 if this was on gamepass.

I'm tell you those games are MID AF.

This was the full quote. He foreshadowed this which was why it was news worthy. He can't officially announce it because Xbox wasn't ready to. This porting business was not a 1 month project. And yes I know but you see where I'm coming from, right?

I think mattrick was given more power because oh his background/resume, same with Peter Moore, some may they have a pedigree/type. Maybe at the time they looked at Phil like Nintendo took their devs and put them in as execs, besides, their second option was probably the other Phil, and those in the know know you know
