Here is some new info on the Atari Box.
- crowdfunding starts this Fall
- launch Spring 2018
- capable of running games like a mid-range PC does, but not AAA games that require high-end PC
- Linux OS, AMD custom processor with Radeon graphics
- open system
- will run PC games; will also launch with large backcatalog of Atari games
- capable of doing streaming, running apps, browsing the web, and playing music
- priced at between $250 and $300

That's not attractive to me. I'm not nostalgic for Atari; I don't like crowdfunding; and the price seems too high.
