They'd probably go Soldier Boy instead.I wonder if they'd have the guts to add Stormfront (tv show version) to a different Kombat Pack? lol
Looks like s*** and even though this isn't that, it still reminds of the "spectre" versions of the characters.... and I sincerely dislike these... it's borderline hate tbh
I used to buy those collectors editions for games all the time and I always ended up throwing the things away eventually lol, they tend to be large and I just ran out of space for most of them. The thing I like about video games as a hobby is they don't take up space. I gave up on the collecting thing. I just don't have room, but it's fine for those that do.
Yeah I love what they've done with Raiden too, I honestly never liked the voice actor they used for him anyway so this and the design are great. So far I'm loving everything I'm seeing although the Kemeo (that's how they spell it lol) fighters to make the screen look a bit busy at times.Looks great.
I'm a long time Raiden player since the 90s MK1. I think he looks great and it's curious to see how Raiden is back with lightning powers after giving away his Godhood in the last game. Maybe him and Liu Kang kind of traded places or roles in time? Or maybe this game will give us a Raiden origin story?
Overall, I like what I see though I'm not really a fan of the X-Rays. I think the animations are to long. I wish they would replace it with a quick but powerful super move or projectile as well as use meter for Combo Breakers.

As far as the X-Ray's I'm sure those will be tied to a meter again so people will probably use it for other things. I did find myself going for brutalities more in MK11 after seeing the fatalities a bunch of times, it was jjust nice to have something quick pop up at the end vs watching the same clip over and over.
Did you watch it in 4K? it's got a lot more detail on screen, the effects are a lot better too. Things in the distance in the backgrounds aren't flat with depth of field to cover them up this time either. Johnny Cage's house for example you can still see that the foam from the waves moving in the distance as do the boats in the ocean, even the cliffs have some kind of texture and depth to it, in MK11 those would have been a painted flat background and not moved if they had tried to do it at all.Graphically... I'm not impressed, could be mistaken for MK11 DLC... maybe it'll look better on real hardware and not compressed youtube idk
“We have a whoooole new system,” Boon teased. “I can tell you it’s not the Krypt. But we’re gonna have a whole new system for unlocks.”
No Krypt and I'm kind of glad, they are doing something different.

Yeah it got to be way too much.Well, they had the Towers of Time which was an interesting idea, but needs to be less of a grind.
and not getting through like 20 plus X-Rays or Mercys or 50 Brutalities.
