Before I bought mine I looked at the big three muscle cars lined up and decided the Camaro was hands down the nicest looking. Which do you guys like best?

Always been a mustang guy. Had a 66 when i was in high school.

Plan on buying 67 fastback brand new body from dynacorn in the next few years.

Yeah the old Mustangs are nice. The 5.0s that came out in the late 80s and early 90s were brutes. I had a 280z and my brother and I were going at least 120mph on a road in the county that is just plain straightaway, and a 5.0 Mustang roared past us like we were going backward. The guy had to at least be going a 140 or 150mph.

I choose Mustang but I may be biased as I do own one;)

I have always been a Chevrolet fan, and the Camaro has been my go to choice of the three. ALWAYS a Chevrolet fan. But when I compare the upcoming 2015 Mustang to the 2014 Camaro, I am leaning towards the looks of the new Mustang. The new Challenger Hellcat is just plain sick too.

If someone made me choose between the new Challenger Hellcat, Camaro Z28 or the 2015 Mustang GT500....ugh....it would be tough. My Chevy love pulls me in, but I think I would have to go with the new Mustang.

I'm in the bias club too:

I'd definitely take a new Stang, though, the Challenger is a sexy looking beast. I've never been a fan of the new gen Camaros, though Chevy has always had killer powertrains.

The new Mustang looks good. I will pick that up if I have the choice between these models.

Honestly can't decide if i like the 2015 mustang body style. everytime i see the profile shot i see a bigger suburu brz lol

Is that a bad thing?

Love the all 3 and the new mustang 435hp, 400lbft, weighing in @ 3700lbs for $32,100 is a bargain...

the `15 stang is growing on me, but I am still waiting on seeing it in person and sitting in it to fully judge it. I love my Mustang its fun, quick, gets a lot of attention (even from cops ruh roh:crazy:). Fun Fact: of the 3 cars mentioned in this thread only the Mustang is built in USA (it is built in good ol Michigan), the Chally and Camaro are built in Canada.

The New Mustang is far far better looking! There is someone who has a Toyota equivalent, & man, it wasn't the most pretty car in the world.

The New Mustang, however have a more global appeal. It has the look that European & the Far East like. The last Mustang is more niche here. Having said that, there was one fellow here that have a classic Mustang. Looks fantastic

Also, whats with American sport car only designed for LHD? Almost every other car manufacturers develop cars that are both LHD & RHD.

rhd is dead people need to stop being difficult and realize this. Sort of like the metric system and the internet, it'll never catch on...

It's because like you said, most American "muscle" cars are a niche outside of the USA. The 15+ though has been designed with a global appeal to it. I think Ford has said they expect the new Stang to have bout 20%(?) of sales to be outside of NA, which would be pretty big for the Stang.

20% sales outside of USA is considered global appeal, I can only imagine all the past ones that isn't global appeal.

Anyway, I checked Ford Germany website & the new Mustang will be available only next year in Germany & no pricing, just some pictures & specs. I was thinking about considering it, if its priced right.

The one thing good about American sport cars here is that its quite a bit cheaper than German ones, considering the power to buck, & the value drop also faster. Germans cars, even basic ones, can be ridiculously expensive if you tick enough option boxes, & you will have to tick quite a bit as many good stuff are behind paywall.

Exactly. The past sales of the Stang outside of NA I believe we're in the single digits. The car now has a thoroughly modern chassis, a pretty global friendly engine w/the 2.3 Ecoboost 4 cylinder and, finally top notch build quality.

60's - Camaro
70's - Camaro
80's - Camaro
90's - Mustang
00's - Mustang
Now - Challenger

I like the Camaro redesign, but I'd never ever buy a Chevy.

I'm partial to how the Charger looks over the Challenger.

That new Mustang is so hot.

I'm partial to the Mustang myself. It still has that Mustang look. Too many modern cars look the same. I can't tell most cars on the road unless I see the badge.

I can't really get into any of them, their just far too big and bulky looking. The last muscle car I liked was the terminator, mustang guys will know what I'm talking about.

Those cars sounded like you were getting raped by a fvcking jet, then that throaty v8 rumble backing it up. An easy 500hp car TEN years ago, just a simple pulley swap, and that was alot back then.

Go 2:39 to see what I'm talking about

Other than that I like the cts-v, muscle car power, but with way better interiors.

I've always loved the Terminator too. When I was at a local dyno with my Stang someone had a 04 Cobra on the dyno before us. The guy had a smaller pulley (don't know the diameter), full 3" exhaust, intake and a chip and was putting down 475 to the wheels. I love the whine of the supercharger on them.

Edit: I've always liked this Cobra, definitely not your basic bolts ons though.
