Yup, I agree. Being a good mod has very little to do with whether you own a particular console or play a certain type of game. It is a different set of skills -- for example, knowing where the lines are, knowing when and how to intervene, how to communicate, being fair, being willing to wade into conflict and get your hands dirty, being willing to take action even if it means taking flak, etc. It doesn't have much to do with whether you own a particular console or not.

Val, I don't get the issue. We never had any real issues with mods before even if they didn't own certain systems. You can't just assume people are going to go nuts and delete all your posts because they have a preference, I think all of the mod choices are some of the most mature posters so I think it would be better to let their actions speak before damning them.

I didn't assume anything what I pointed out makes sense.

I think it very well does matter if the admin/s have a bias especially when they are the type to try and get others banned when it goes against the format of there choice... I saw much since my 01 arrival.

Well, I'd suggest you wait and see what happens, rather than proclaiming in advance that there will be problems. See how the new mods do, and if they don't perform to your liking, complain to that mod directly, preferably via PM. If you don't get a satisfactory answer, take your complaint up the chain.

All good choices imo.

I never see wolfy troll. He comes across as someone like Kong Rudi. Someone who has a preference but is respectful about it.
 
I prefer the Xbox brand but I've owned every Sony/Nintendo console apart from their current ones simply because they don't have enough exclusives I want right now.

I also think this is a very good forum with a solid group of posters so why would I want to ruin that for you lot or myself?
