Agreed.
This stream makes it seem like Nintendo has almost totally moved on to the NX (or whatever next gen machine they have in the pipeline).
We may argue about who's first and second, but we know who's third. I'll give 'em a C - .
That held zero interest for me. Nintendo seems to be getting more inward-focused, more focused on their own histories. All the Mario stroking got dull. I've heard enough about the legacy of Mario already. F*ck Mario, reach into new territory already. None of those games appealed to me.

I think we should all now take a moment to ponder what it was like to play Super Mario Brothers 3, or to play Mario Kart 64 for the first time. To see Mario64 set up at a Toys R Us kiosk and be awestruck. To play Goldeneye with three other players via split screen.

I miss that Nintendo that brought us Metroid, Kid Icarus and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out.
I love Nintendo, but the only things that interested me were Mario Tennis and Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival.

Wow wii u was a dead console right out of the box I'm so Pissed I bought it freaking Nintendo just gave up on it.
It's either Nintendo is extremely out of touch or they just don't care. I thought it was the former but I fear it may actually be the latter.
They do still have fun stuff on the WiiU though, just their conferences are terrible. Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Yoshi's Woolly World, Mario Maker. That's enough to keep you happy for a while, but it still just doesn't seem like enough.

Don't get one there is nonthing coming out and I bet Zelda will go next gen only kind of a farewell f you to the wii people.
Buy one second hand for cheap! They're going for peanuts, and there IS amazing gameplay to be had! Just don't expect much on the horizon. I still don't have a f***ing clue what an amiibo is.
Sad, Nintendo really shined for me last year. Between this and the bad taste amiibos left for my family it doesn't look to be a good year. My daughter had wanted to collect the amiibos but gave up on that, it was an awful experience.
