Yeah that like pretty much all of the "good news" for xbox's report was due to the A/B purchase though, sub services take away from sales so of course that's what they talk about. Anyone who wants to argue that they don't hurt sales is living in a fantasy world where everything Phil says is true.

Now just wait for the people who want them to make everything exclusive to have meltdowns when most of the A/B stuff stays multiplatform because it's going to take years to make the money back that they spent just buying the company let alone paying the employees they didn't lay off and funding new projects.

Why would they have a meltdown? MS made it perfectly clear for nearly 2 years they would keep Activisions big games multiplatform and even signed contracts.
Only 1 side acted like they would be making them exclusive.

I don't think Jerry realizes that MS doesn't have to make the money back. They still have it.

Not true at all lol. Xbox fans on twitter were constantly talking about everything going exclusive, they wanted COD to be exclusive to try to "kill PlayStation" lol which wouldn't happen even if COD went exclusive.

Phil is full of s*** and everyone outside of the hardcore xbox fanbase knows it, you can't trust a thing he says. They also never said "their big games would remain multiplatform" the only game they committed to was COD, the other big titles like Diablo were being released before the deal was done. They remained as non-committal as possible through most of it.

MS Brad Smith walked onto a stage with a contract for Sony. Anyone on twitter thinking cod was going exclusive is dumb. It was also Sony's entire argument against the buy.

Of course they didn't want it to go through, if you were Sony you wouldn't either lol. The "contract" nonsense was all performative too, the deal Phil talked about wasn't what he tried to make it sound like publicly. At the end of the day very few of A/B's console titles are of much significance outside of COD anyway.

Who cares what trolls on Twitter think?

Jerry’s hatred for Phil is hilarious.
