I never did beat Bravely Default but I enjoyed what I played. Looks like this might be similar to that in some aspects?
Yeesh, the game doesn't translate well in stills, imo. In motion, however, it looks fantastic!Gorgeous game. The artstyle, dare I say is a perfect evolution of the SNES style which is still incredibly viable IMO.
The game also sports a nice soundtrack and a decent amount of voiced work, which I wasn't expecting for some reason.
Wondering if I should grab this or Captain Toad. Never played Toad on Wii U.
I enjoyed the demo a lot but I wonder if I would finish it. I liked Bravely Default a lot as well. I also am deciding betweenness Nier.Depends on your love of jrpgs. From my 3 hours with it so far, it is a love letter to the Jrpgs of the SNES era. Difficult but fair, with a great soundtrack and exceedingly long with respect to play time. So far, better than Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

If I liked turn-based games I would so get this. I wish it was more like the 16bit action rpgs in terms of combat.
I love the art direction.
