he is in the right thread...your trolling.

needing a cable box kind of makes the term "all in one" a lie.

now, if there was an internal tuner card, would be a whole different ball game.

Needing external hardware kind of goes, well, does go against the term All in One.

you dont need a cable box but the system is all in one

I do not see how Sony cannot make something similar. You either have to use a mic, or buy the camera. Its good to have out of the box though, & available at launch, (at least in some nations9, which will encourage 3rd parties to make snap apps for the system.

I think it has more to do with hyper-v and multiple OS's than anything else. Not sure if PS4 could recreate a similar experience with the setup it has.

Probably Sony will continue to play catch up when its comes to features & apps. They are probably caught off guard by how far MS try to push the xbox as a media machine.

But I can only judge after the consoles are out for a while, if the extension to game on xbox one really make a big difference.

Both companies play catch up in some regard..it's what breeds competition.

So, I'm still confused on something. Will I still see my crappy Comcast guide or will it look like the one in the vids. If it's the later, I'll be both pleased and amazed. These monkeys who make the software for these cable/sat boxes should be FIRED!

You guys mocking making TV easier must have lower standards than I do. Comcast is perticularly bad, where it takes 3 button presses/menu screens just to get to my favorites list... which kind of defeates the whole favorites list purpose! :smash:

I used to feel this way, but lets play devil's advocate. There is already enough complaining about extra cost of Kinect in the box. If this actually works... why penalize those who don't want cable?

Has their been no details on support outside the US ? Like does it work fine with providers like Sky and Virgin. Is there any differences in Menu/Planner. Are there other things like the fantasy football stuff for err...Real Football ( Soccer). Is there extra things cause of close partnerships with providers.

Anything ?

They have said their will be no support at launch, and left it at that. There has not been a lot of specifics for America in terms of what is supported. I am sure they will detail the plans closer to launch in other areas. My guess is the UK will be the first location outside of the US/Canada to get the service.

because it will take their resources from 1 OS, MS have 3 and it takes non from each other.
