Some masters sell unique items for Choas Orbs once you get them high enough, like level 8 or so.

I think I might start with the witch. Just to try something different. Although it does look difficult to optimize the class.

Today just sucks... it's NEVER going to be 10pm!! :smash:

but getting them to level 8 takes a while, and Chaos orbs don't drop frequently. Pretty sure there is vendor recipe to get them but the items needed could take a whil to drop.

These builds are built out to level 90+ anyway, so I wouldn't be too focused on the jewels right now.

It is getting closer. Thankfully I am binge watching The Defenders to help pass the time:grin:
 
Just know guys that if you make a character in both Harbinger and Standard they cannot share stash space.

If I was you I wouldn't even bother with the Standard.

I'm torturing myself my theory crafting when i'm not busy working. I need to not do that. But first I just need to check on some point allocations....

Oh right. So that Vendor thing is probably what you get for trading it? I wish there was more details on which vendor sells which items and what level they need to be at.

Can you craft these unique items? I've seen comments that make it seem like you can. If so where do you get the blue prints?

I don't think you can craft them. Perhaps the orb that does random rarity could produce one when used on the white variant, but I imagine the chances are slim.
 
It will be interesting to see how console people deal with the trading aspect. It's a really difficult game to play self found.

Pretty much all the the gear on my character right now was bought with chaos from other players. If I didn't have that ability my build would be pretty trash.

I actually got a really nice set of boots that I sold for 80 chaos last night. Would drive me insane if I wasn't able to sell it easily.

You mean Chaos Orbs as currency, i take it? I'm not sure if Player Trading will be there from the start. Guess we'll know soon enough.

Yes. That is pretty much the Standard currency when people are buying and selling. Sometimes it's Exalted Orbs and some lesser items are Alchemy, Chromatics etc.

Usually one exalted orb is worth about 30 chaos on the market but prices fluctuate as the league goes on.

Is there a hub on the PC where people meet to trade or is it just a menu system?

It's a website calle POE trade or something. I was browsing through it the other day to see what sort of gear dropped at level 65+.
 
I would definitely play with you guys if I could transfer my PC account (stash tabs,cosmetics). But I don't think that will be an option.

I'm not paying for those things again.

It might be possible to add an xbox liveID to the account. You could always send them an email/twitter and check.

Seen alot of folks on the official website asking about something like that, but I haven't seen a single person from GGG respond.
 
Created a Marauder about to dive in.

Can you play with random people online or is it friends list only?

EDIT: I didn't know you interact with players in town.

Made it to level 7 and got a feel for the game. That skill forest is ridiculous lol. This is a very good game for a free to play game. I can see myself sinking many hours into this.

My advice for the skill forest is to decide on a build strategy for your character before hand. Maybe take a look a few Marauder builds online for the way to spec skills.
 
Guys I just noticed that POE trade now has a button that says enable "Xbox One mode". Dont know how it works but that is a great sign.

Trading is there. You need Premium stash tabs to do it.

Tell me, what's the average price for a unique ? I'm struggling to find info on prices. I've tried to sell a few for one choas orb but nothing has sold so far.
