I was gonna drop GPU and switch to PS+ in January... Still dropping it, but will settle for the version that allows me to play online and never subscribe to this PS+ garbage ever again. Wtf are these clowns thinking?
 
Sony has lost their minds. I upped from Essential to Premium because they had a deal. There is no way in hell I would pay that much for what little is worth playing on it. The $80 for essential is barely worth it for me anymore.

Same. I was on Extra then switched to Premium for the deal and mine expires in Nov 2024. Not going to resub unless there's a big deal going on. I'll just buy the games I want to play and resell after just like I've been doing since the ps3/360 days.

Once the ones I have expire I'll be going to basic again, I haven't used any of the perks, like with GPU I own all the games I want to play already.

Wait till black Friday / cyber Monday. Amazon/Sony/Bestbuy/Walmart/etc usually has 33% off for PS+ essential. That is when my subscription expires and when I renew. I have been doing that for the last 4 years.

Just stick with essential and get it on sale during BF/CM. PS+ eseentail is worth for me. Renewed last year Nov 2022 for $40 and very please on the games I got below:


Alan Wake Remastered (looking to play it again)
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (Beat it in June 2023)
Death's Door (About to play it soon)
GRID Legends (Huge GRID fan)
Sackboy: A Big Adventure (Beat it together with my nephew)
Trek to Yomi (Good indie game - finished a month ago)
Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Looking to play it again)

Nier Replicant, Star Ocean and 13 sentinels Aegis rim . Wow, Japanese game fans rejoice.

Going to play the first two but everyone with PS plus needs to experience Aegis rim, it's so good.

I'm a Star Ocean fan but Divine force feels like another miss. I'm still playing through it but it's average at best.

Til the end of time is the 2nd best Star Ocean game. Great addition. Last Hope is where the steep decline started.
