Yeah it was typical. Got a perfect when I wasn't recording but didn't manage it this time.

well you could save the last 5 mins at any time. so i doubt a level took longer then 5mins..
Yes but don't you need Game DVR in snap mode to record 5 minutes? Saying XBox Record that only does the last 30 seconds.

say you did something epic 2 mins ago.. you can snap the DVR (at any time) and select "save last 5 mins". you dont need it open while playing to record, you only need to open it when you want to save a specific amount of recording
the DVR is ALWAYS recording the last 5 mins

BTW to be more accurate on the saving last 5 mins.. you click on "end clip now" and get an option to keep last 30secs to 5mins

Trying to get past the nasty AI at Bathurst. Bathurst is nuts, this coming from someone who grew up watching open wheel cars race on a 1/4 mile walled in oval asphalt track.

Your Evo sounds mean. Bathurst looks awesome. Its actually refreshing to see somebody racing and not just just trying to push through to first place at any cost. The A.I ( I assume it is single player) looks very good in these vids. Lots of variation between drivers and the lines and aggression they take/have.

The AI is pretty good overall. There are still some issues. I brake pretty late going into the corners, but still someone will often clip me (but when I'm behind them they seem to brake earlier, forcing me to slam on the brakes?).
I try to race as clean as possible, but it can be tough bashing through the back of the pack. Take too long and the frontrunners get too big a lead. I also try not to just set my car up with tons of power and blow by them on the straights. I try to set the car up so it can race clean. It is still nearly impossible to finish without a dent somewhere.
Still, much better than previous games. Last game I rarely did the single player. The drivitar AI definitely doesn't get dull...

Some Spa would be nice too
Setting a car up like that isn't a great idea any way. You're better off ( or at least what I do) is setting the car up for handling ( tyres, suspension..etc as well as transmission, clutch..etc) and then lowering the weight before adding more power.
