Pre-order Warframe on PS4, free bonuses

Hey guys,

for those who didn't know, you can go to PSN store and pre-order Warframe today, a F2P coming out for the PS4.

What's the point, you ask? Apparently you can get free bonus content.

However, doing so will new you with the Ultimate Fan Pack, which gives you the following bonus content (according to Sony’s pre-order page):

  • 20,000 Credits to help upgrade your arsenal
  • 50 Platinum to give you access to new Warframes, weapons and more
  • Exclusive PS4 Braton Rifle skin
With the game being free to download anyhow, if you’ve got any level of interest in playing Warframe, there’s absolutely no reason not to head over to the Sony Entertainment Network site and get the game pre-ordered.

Pay money for a free game to get free stuff.

That just sounds so weird.
 
How is it a pre-order if it's free to play? That's just weird haha
 
When you order it, it'll be put in your download-list - that's what they are aiming for.
So if you play Killzone on day one - warframe will be downloaded automatically, so it sits on your system the next day. :-)

This person seems to be playing it more like a shooter than a slasher. This doesn't really excite me, but there will probably be a lull after launch when I'll be happy to try the F2P offerings like this one.
 
I actually tried Warframe on pc... its actually fun and I can tell it will benefit from using a Controller versus a keyboard and mouse.
