Loss leader worked when a true generation was 5-7 years, both companies have already stated that they aren't interested in that way of doing things anymore. They want to be able to bring out improved tech faster as other forms of electronic entertainment (phones/tablets) advance yearly. I think people need to let go of the past, they aren't doing things like that anymore and there is good reason for it. I honestly started losing interest in gaming towards the end of last gen because it went on so long. Scorpio isn't meant to be a new gen console regardless of what a random dev may say, sure MS has jumped from one gen to the next in just 4 years before but they have stated that's not the case this time. I think we all wish we could get $700-$800 worth of tech in a $400 machine but that's just not the way things are going to be done anymore.
I'm sure they're reading this and are working on how to appease you as we type.MS can more than afford to sell a $700 machine for $499/549 and if they do this they will regain much respect from me.
I'm the type of fan they need to appease if they wanna be more successful and gain more respect from gamers.I'm sure they're reading this and are working on how to appease you as we type.
No they don't. Your kind is insignificant.I'm the type of fan they need to appease if they wanna be more successful and gain more respect from gamers.
my kind not being there is why they never win.No they don't. Your kind is insignificant.
They can do nothing to appeas you. If they did, you'd find something else wrong. Like I said, your kind is insignificant.my kind not being there is why they never win.
Oh my god, thanks for this! Funniest thing I've read all week.I'm the type of fan they need to appease if they wanna be more successful and gain more respect from gamers.
my kind not being there is why they never win.
who are we talking about, Microsoft?I'm the type of fan they need to appease if they wanna be more successful and gain more respect from gamers.
My kind likes quality gaming and spends money on quality gaming. You're all overthinking it. I think the kind MS is looking for is the kind that has money and likes gaming.
Years back you dumped your PS3 and then sold your Vita for a Wii U. And you had your precious Vita for less than a year. lol.My kind likes quality gaming and spends money on quality gaming.
Actually, you are the last one they need to appease. You seem to buy every piece of hardware anyway, and then suddenly dump them without cause all to save the mighty dollar. You trading in your Vita after maybe 9 months shows you don't care about quality gaming as you didn't give it a chance. Vita is actually a quality handheld that has some good mobile games, yet you bailed ship in less than a year.I'm the type of fan they need to appease if they wanna be more successful and gain more respect from gamers.
If you are going to stalk me get the facts straight.Years back you dumped your PS3 and then sold your Vita for a Wii U. And you had your precious Vita for less than a year. lol.
Seems about right. Wii U is more innovative than either PS3 and Vita.
Some people only buy Xbox based devices and yet have much to say about non xbox consoles.Actually, you are the last one they need to appease. And before that during the TXB days you dumped your PS3 (I think to get a Wii) before they released TLoU which is among the best games on the system. You hightailed it out of the Sony ecosystem, while admitting you still had a 360 (which makes sense since 360 is better than a PS3).
Agreed. But don't lump me into that. I had a PS1 and PS2.Some people only buy Xbox based devices and yet have much to say about non xbox consoles.
Is that YOUR defense? Some people only buy Xbox based devices and yet have much to say about non xbox consoles.
I owned 2 but have my reasons good and bad why I no longer own them.Agreed. But don't lump me into that. I had a PS1 and PS2.
I can say the same for others. Some people like to talk bad about Xbox One systems yet don't own one right now at this very moment.
No I haven't.Is that YOUR defense?
You've missed out on many of the best games of the past 5 years because you either didn't own the system or had some weird complaint (like resolution). You've really lost most of any cred here because you are wrong about things. Junior gamer seems a more appropriate title?
Well you bag on games because of their Meta score and the turn around and slobber all over dogs like Destiny and Street Fighter which did just as poorly in ratings. No I haven't.
When VS type comparisons are made I use meta scores and than sales and that is the best way with opinions being subjective.Well you bag on games because of their Meta score and the turn around and slobber all over dogs like Destiny and Street Fighter which did just as poorly in ratings.
If you cut all the fanboy crap you would be more tolerable.
MS can more than afford to sell a $700 machine for $499/549 and if they do this they will regain much respect from me.
Yeah and they lost money on the box at first too, that's not happening anymore.
Compare the difference between the word "then" and "than".When VS type comparisons are made I use meta scores and than sales and that is the best way with opinions being subjective.
Yeah. As you said in the Sales thread, your priority is meta first, sales second. When VS type comparisons are made I use meta scores and than sales and that is the best way with opinions being subjective.
Exactly.Well you bag on games because of their Meta score and the turn around and slobber all over dogs like Destiny and Street Fighter which did just as poorly in ratings.
