That's the thing, Flight sim has nothing going on but a plane flying slowly in some pretty clouds, you get down to ground level and look at things up close and it falls apart fast which is totally understandable becuase you aren't supposed to be 10 feet from a building in that game.
FH5 also looks very nice but it's cars moving around there don't have to worry about animating people in any kind of realistic way, no animals animated, hair physics, combat AI etc it goes on and on. Those are the best looking games from xbox first party right now but they don't look better than what's best from Sony first party right now.
There are games like God of War that were just improved PS4 games that don't hold up as well to HFW, DSR and R&C either so not every game on PlayStation is a 10 out of 10 graphically but the best looking console exclusives are currently on PS5. There isn't some kind of nefarious plot by 3rd parties to not use that "extra power" on xbox, that metric is just overblown and there are things that the PS5 just does better than Series X and vice versa.

There should be a YouTube channel for devs as they do with vfx artist, stuntmen and directors. You sit them down at a table or couch and have they breakdown the ins and outs of what’s done to get said visuals from people who know the ins and outs and share them and the reasons why they do what they do…maybe have @Nervusbreakdown moderrate it

Lol, even if that's true- the 360 era was more than a decade ago. People are allowed to learn and grow. One of the very worst things about discourse today is bringing up old viewpoints or comments from 10 years ago. People DO change. You are only a hypocrite if you are currently doing something that you currently decry. Every person that does this deserves to have THEIR history combed through and applied to them today.
