That's a great cab for modding, just add a couple of buttons (I think it's only 3 or 4/ player? ) to each player and shove a rpi or some cheap android box (or even a mini pc if you want some ps2/ xbox emulation) and you got a great, cheap arcade-at-home solution.

Also, they don't ship to Sweden and when they do, it's insanely expensive.
They usually go for about $750-900 here, so they're not hugely popular tbh

Woah, that’s a lot, is it cheaper having it shipped or buying it at said market value? What if someone were to send/ship it to you?

I haven't looked it up for a while, but I'd say it's prob about the same price or more expensive. There's also extra taxes to pay here when you buy stuff from abroad.
There's always the chance of getting a used one, that's how I got my arcade1up 2pl SFII cab, I think I got for like $100, but I haven't seen them under $400 used for a long time.
If you don't mind putting some time into modding a cab, you could get a real (used) candy cab for pretty much the same price as an arcade1up here, which is insane lol

Dang, is it the eu taxes or Swedish taxes that hurt it most? What if it were to be shipped to another country where it’d be reasonable and then take a road trip to pick it up?

You pay 25% tax on everything that you buy from outside the EU (sometimes more), you also pay extra customs tax if the price for the ware is over 1700sek (about $160), the higher the price, the more custom tax... and the percentage differs depending on what it is (batteries you pay more bc environment etc).
It's bulls*** tbh lol.
