Rare Replay

Not had issues with it yet but only played it for a little while.

To finish Battletoads on the original NES, you needed to be a gaming savant. I'm having trouble with it and I can use rewinding!

So I got it. Love the overall package.

My one disappointment is that they chose the N64 version of Conker over the remake. I would have preferred the visuals over a few curse words or scenes.

But the main problem is the camera. The camera on the right stick is inverted and makes it a pain in the ass to enjoy the game. If you press left the camera goes right and vice versa. There's no way to change it in the options as far as I could see.

I wonder if they are just going to make Live and Reloaded BC? I can't remember if it was 360 or OG xbox.

Yeah, i still have my copy of Conker: Live & Reloaded for the Xbox that i play on my 360. Game is still gorgeous. So i don't mind that they gave us the N64 version.

I've just been playing each game for about 10 minutes and doing the snapshots. This is fan service at its best. So many classic games. Thank you Rare.

That's the same problem i have with banjo, these games definitely weren't made with the twin sticks in mind.

Seems like I am the only one that's okay with the inverted right stick, and I'm pretty sure that's because flight sims taught me that up is down and down is up.

I don't have an issue with up and down being inverted. It's the left and right inversion that messes with my mind.

It does some weird crap when you try swing it into things too, I just adapted to it and keep it to a minimum. Pretty easy to get the hang of though after a while.

One thing that is very consistent across titles is that the music is ridiculously awesome... Battletoads, Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Viva Piñata, why does it have to sound so good?! Why am I listening to soundtracks all the time? I am almost choking for awesomeness

I got 66,000 on RC Pro am. Round 11

What are some of your records?

I didn't take first place every time. Usually 3rd. But I did get upgraded to a SUV looking vehicle.

Pre-N64 games are too hardcore for me. Games like Lunar Jetman are impossible to understand, and RC Pro-Am is too difficult. And Battletoads is Battletoads alright.

For me it is a bit different.

The Spectrum games the only one that I can some what enjoy is Jetpac

I can dig on most of the NES games but Especially RC Pro Am 1-2,Battletoads,Slalom,Cobra Triangle

N64 I dig the ports that are the 360 versions more than the other ports. I was never a huge N64 fan as the bluratron graphics bothered me a lot then and now still. Now that said the 360 ports of Perfect Dark and Banjo games are awesome!!

Please tell me how to get through the protecting people level in Cobra Triangle. I like that game but gave up on that level.

Yep. Might be worth moving to something else before starting TiP to avoid burnout.

But it adds a good amount of new stuff.
